When Amaya moves to a new town she's anything but comfortable, but with the help of the friendly Dacre, she soon falls for in love with Emmerdale. Little does she know, the town is anything but nice.
So I decided to go this party. And now I'm having a mental breakdown because it's my first night in this town and I'm going to a party to meet new people and there's a chance they'll hate me. So yeah. Maybe I'm not going. I sat on my bed and scrolled through old pictures of my city life. I really partied out there and I tended to do things I didn't remember the next morning. I'm not doing that tonight because this is my fresh start. I'm just gonna have fun. "Okay." I took a deep breath and got in my truck.

I really hope she shows up. I basically have been thinking about her all night. She had a light that I was very interested in. I wanted to see her be herself. I hope she would be comfortable. "Dacre, Ian never seen you this nervous, boy. She's really got you off your rocker." "Shutup, Tony." Tony was my bestfriend. We had a love/hate relationship. "I wanna see this city chick. I bet she thinks she's better than all of us." "She's not like that, Carrie." That's his girlfriend. I'm not fond of her. "Right. You guys talked for 30 minutes and your in love. She probably won't wanna date no country fella like you." I clenched my fist. "Shut your mouth." I mumbled. She laughed. "Okay, country boy." I got up and looked out the window. People were starting to arrive but I didn't see that red truck. She's probably not coming. I sat down and drank my 2nd beer.
The party was starting to get a bit rowdy when she walked in. People gyrating and making out everywhere. Smelled like beer and weed. She walked in, looked around and we made eye contact. Her face kinda lit up as she made her way towards me. "I didn't think you were gonna make it." I said, leaning in closer to her. "I was hesitant." She yelled over the music. "Well I'm glad you came." We walked towards the drink table and she grabbed a beer. I watched her as she started to sway a bit to the music. "I got some friends who want to meet you." "Really?" I nodded and pulled her towards Steve, Carrie, and Alexi. "Guys, this is Amaya." I yelled over the music. "Sup, I'm Tony." "I'm Lexi." "Carrie."
Amaya
They all seemed welcoming, except for that Carrie girl. She looked me up and down and turned her nose up at me. I just smiled and waved. Dacre kept looking at me. "What?" "Are you...ya know, enjoying yourself." I smiled. "Yeah. I just wanna know what her problem is." "Who? Carrie? She thinks your a city girl." I chugged down her beer and grabbed another one. "I'm not though. She doesn't even know me." I took a sip of my beer. "Fuck her." "No! I'm supposed to be making friends here." "I'm the only friend you need. These people are lame." I giggled. I started feeling a little tipsy. "Let's dance." He said. We walked towards the crowd of people and started dancing.
