Warnings: Irondad MAD

"Wakey, wakey, sweetheart," a voice sings, and as you groggily open your eyes, the face of Tony Stark appears above you.

"Stark?" you exclaim, trying to sit up, but metal cuffs around your wrists and ankles are keeping you strapped to a cold table.

"The one and only."

"How...?" you ask, then realize you're surrounded by a bunch of people you don't know. "Who are you people?"

"The Avengers," Tony says.

You gulp. Now you know you're in trouble.

"We've got some questions we want to ask you," he continues.

"Me first," you growl. "Where's Peter Parker?"

Tony straightens, a prideful grin growing on his face.

"He's far away from you, so he's safe."

"Oh thank God."

All the Avengers raise their eyebrows.

"What?" one of them asks.

"Cut the bullshit," Tony snaps at you. "You don't care that Peter's safe. If you had it your way, Peter would still be a lovesick fool under your spell."

"Don't you dare tell me what I care about," you hiss back, even though it sure isn't helping your case.

"Where did you take him?" he demands.

"My apartment," you tell him honestly, and Stark's face reddens so fast that steam will be coming out of his ears in a few seconds.

"Nothing happened," you assure him.

"She's telling the truth," a robotic voice says, the owner of the voice stepping forward. He's some sort of android.

"Vis..." says a woman in red, but Tony holds up his hand.

"It's true," the android continues. "I already went over all the security footage. And Dr. Banner said Peter's not hurt."

You look over at the android, mouthing a thank-you. You could've sworn he gave you a small smile.

"Fine. Assuming nothing happened, what'd you do with him?"

"Nuh-uh. It's my turn now. How'd you find us?"

"Easy. When Peter took you out on that yogurt date, we had already narrowed down where you were keeping him. It was just a matter of waiting you out."

"Why not just kill me? Why bring me here?"

"Dr. Banner's been studying your... abilities."

"Don't bother," you sigh. "It's hopeless. You'll never be able to figure it out. Believe me, I've tried."

"Do you have seven PhDs?" Tony asks you.

"If I did, why would I be talking to you?"

You hear an appreciative "ooooo" from behind you, then the sound of someone being kicked. Hard.

"If you're so smart," Tony begins again, "riddle me this: how come you didn't notice that no boy you've been near has fallen for you besides Peter for the past two weeks?"

"What?" you ask, shocked. You start to argue, but then you think back to your afternoon at the frozen yogurt place. No wonder you thought something was off! If Stark is telling the truth, then your powers haven't been working for two weeks.

But why were they still affecting Peter then?

"What's your game, sweetheart? You using all your power on Peter?"

"No!" you erupt, suddenly starting to sob as the overwhelming guilt of what you did finally surfaces. "I stopped wanting to use my powers weeks ago! I've been trying to get Peter to fall out of love with me! But he just won't stop! I'm sorry!"

"Uh, Tony?" Dr. Banner interrupts, poking his head into the room. "You need to see this."
