Laughter was heard in the dining hall of Kyra's manor, it would appear that a few guests, other girls of nobility are currently having a chat.

"I'm telling you Yevir, it's all true!" One girl cried out

"Pfft, as if I'll believe that. Do you honestly take me as a fool?"

"Most of the time, yes." another girl replied. As the conversation got heated, Kyra was seen bringing in a tray of muffins while Jack was carrying in a teapot into the dining hall. As Kyra was setting down the tray, Jack just poured tea into guest's teacup as they kept on their conversation. The girls took a muffin each from the tray as they slowly ate bit by bit.

"Kyra, this is delicious!" One girl exclaimed as she took another bite from the muffin. "What recipe do you use?!" She said as she stuffs her face with another muffin.

"Laphyra, please control yourself!" One girl boomed out while Laphyra kept munching down on the muffin. "But seriously, she's right. These muffins are exquisite!" As the other girls nodded in agreement.

Kyra only blushed as she received the compliments. Cooking was never really her style, despite the fact that she had mastered many cooking recipes, all thanks to her mother. But really, she just enjoys baking more, simple, easy to make and don't require that much ingredients unlike cooking. To her, it's just the right call.

"Ah, stop it you guys. It's not that good really, I just used a simple recipe." She said as she scratched the back of her head, still blushing. After her twenty seconds of fame, she quickly calmed herself down. "Anyways, what were you guys talking about that's become so exciting?" She asked as the room got quiet in an instant. The other girls looked at each while Kyra only looked at them confused.

"Kyra, do you believe in... ghosts?" On girl voiced out to her in a soft voice. But she only became more puzzled as she heard this.

"I don't follow here." Kyra answered her. The girl quickly closed her eyes and let out a soft sigh.

"Fine, I'll tell you. There was once a grand manor in the woods, the occupants of the manor were very nice and were well respected. One night, bandits attacked their home and killed everyone, not sparing a single soul and took their valuables along with them." The girl began to tell the story while Kyra and the others listen attentively.

"After they died, they became spirits, roaming around what was once their home. At first, they were quiet and docile, but as the years grew, so did their anger and hatred towards their unfair death. And now, they've begun to turn violent. It is said they've grown so powerful, even the surrounding area of the manor began to lose life, as if it was used to feed their endless hunger for their souls." As she waved her fingers at her in a creepy manner.

"Where did you even get all of this?" Kyra asked her, feeling skeptical about this. It's proves very insignificant to others, but considering that she's an avatar, it is within her duties to investigate as to not cause panic towards the public. If all of this is true, then it is her job to dispell all that is evil and keep the peace. The girl quickly caught on to why she was asking.

"Oh don't worry, it's just some rumors and stories from the peasants, probably used so that their children don't wander too far into the woods." The girl said in an attempt to reassure her.

"But still, it's my job to investigate." She said as she let out a sigh. Jack came towards her and poured her empty cup with tea as Kyra thanked him while Jack just gave a bow of respect. Jack inspected the teapot and found that the tea has almost been depleted as he excused himself back into he kitchen. Kyra only stared at the doorway where Jack had gone as she slowly sipped at her tea. The other girls saw this and giggled to each other
