Just Saying - Chapter 6

Luke's P.O.V.

I walked into Megan's house to see that she was on the floor packing her things with a sad look on her face. "Hiya papaya" I said to her to try and cheer her up a bit. She looked up at me, rolled her eyes, and started giggling. "Hey Luke." "So, before you leave, I made you a going away present." Sat down next to her and took out the gift. It was a big collage of a bunch of photos ever since we first met through now. So like a timeline from 2010-2014. She looked at it in awe and smiled at me. "Do you like it?" I asked. She looked up at me while smiling but tears still filling up in her eyes "Luke I love it. Thank you so much." We got up on our feet and she pulled me into a tight hug while starting to cry. "Megan please don't cry." I rubbed her back, trying to soothe her. "I can't Luke. I don't want to leave for camp. I want to stay here with you guys." She started crying even more so I hugged her even tighter. "I know you don't want to go Meg and I know it's going to be hard for you and I'm going to be honest, I don't want you to go either." "I know but I have to." She said sadly. We pulled away from our hug and Meg wiped away her tears. "Hey, I'll help you pack the rest of your things if you want." I said to her half-smiling. She nodded her head yes and we both started packing the rest of her things.

Meg's P.O.V.

After Luke and I finished packing my luggage, we both stood up and shared one more tight hug. "I'm going to miss you so much" I said to him. "I'll miss you to Meg." He said back to me. "Let me walk you to the car." He took my luggage and dragged it out of my house with his arm wrapped around my neck. "Your cartage awaits ma'am" Luke said as he opened the car door for me. I giggled and said "Why thank you kind sir" while pretending to curtsy. I sat in the front seat of the car, with Luke's eyes still locked with mine. My mom started the car and drove away while I wave a goodbye to Luke for the final time. As we drove away, I looked out the window in the front seat with so many things racing through my mind. It was mainly Nick and if Danielle was really his cousin or not.
