Megan's P.O.V.

After a 30 minute drive, I got out of the car and grabbed my luggage out of the trunk. I waved goodbye to my mom as she drove away. I turned around to see what the camp looked like and let me just say that it was crappier, dirtier and more run down than my basement. The place smelled like cow poop and dirty socks mixed together. I could barley even bare to breathe. I walked up to the manager who apparently had a missing tooth that you can see when he talked. "Uh hi. I'm Megan Dallas. I applied to be a councillor here" I said to the man. He looked up at me and said "Oh Yes! Welcome to Camp Deerchuck. Here is the uniform you will be wearing." He handed me an old, run down, dirty brown councilor uniform. "Uhh thanks" I said and walked away. Man that guy spit like mad when he talked. And what kind of camp name is Deerchuck? Is that a Deer mixed with a woodchuck? I have no clue. I walked to the cabin I was assigned to and saw a few other girls who were camp councillors too. "Uhh Hello." I said timidly to them. "Hey." One girl said back to me. She hopped off the bunk and walked up to me. I'm Jade. And this is Maddie, Tori and Becky. She pointed to each of the girls as she called their names. They all waved hello to me and I waved hi back. Jade had long black hair with red highlights. She had on black boots, a black chocker and she even made her uniform black and got away with it. She wore black eyeliner, lipstick, eyeshadow. Pretty much everything was black on her so apparently she was goth. "And you are?" Tori asked to me from another bunk. "I'm Megan" "Well Megan. Let me tell you something." Jade said "This place is a living Hell Hole. I've worked as a counselor here for the past 3 years. It's not fun at all." She said to me with a tone in her voice like she was trying to scare me. "Oh Jade stop it." Becky said. "Don't mind her. You'll get used to it. I've been working here with Jade for 3 years. It's really not that bad once you grow into it." I didn't believe her. I haven't even started working yet and I wanted out.

I've been working here for the past 4 hours and I've never worked more in my life. The kids I had to work with were so fucking annoying. They kept asking me the same dumb questions over and over and I just wanted to turn around and say "Look you little shit. I'm going to give you one more chance to shut the fuck up or I'll throw you in the lake and the God damn lake monster will eat you" I can't work here for another 4 weeks. I'm getting out of here. I was just about to get my phone to call someone but before I had the chance to unlock it, I was getting a call. It was from Michael. I answered it.

Meg: Hey Mike
Mikey: yo what's up Meg how's camp?
Meg: It's a living Hell
Mikey: Ooh sounds fun! Is it too late for me to apply?
Meg: Hahah very funny... But hey I need you to do me a favor.
Mikey: Go on
Meg: I need you to drive to the camp tonight...
Mikey: Uh huh....
Meg: Sneak through my cabin window...
Mikey: I'm listening....
Meg: And sneak me out and bring me home.
Mikey: No.
Meg: PLEASE MIKEY I NEED YOU TOO!
I CANT TAKE ANOTHER 4 WEEKS IN THIS PLACE! IN FACT, I COULD BARLEY SURVIVE 30 MINUTES!
Mikey: I'll do it only....
Meg: Only if what....
Mikey: You buy me a new video game
Meg: Ugh fine. Just be here at 11:00 PM tonight
Mikey: Okay I'll see you then

Then we hung up the call....

Mikey's P.O.V.

I seriously didn't want to be out at night at 11:30 sneaking my friend out of a crappy camp, but I was going to get a new video game so that was worth it. I drove around the back and into Meg's cabin window. "Psst Megan" I whisper yelled over to her bunk. I saw her rise up from the bed with her suitcase next to her. "Ready?" I asked. "Ready." She quietly hopped out of bed and over to the window where I was. I helped boost her up and out of the window and grabbed her luggage. We ran back to the car as quickly and quietly as we could. When we were about half a foot away from the car, the camp spotlights went on and went down on us. "Get in the car NOW!" Megan ordered. I ran to the door, hopped in the front seat, started the car and drove away. "That was close!" Megan said out of breath. "Yeah." I replied. "So when can we get my video game?" Covered her face with her hand and said "For God's sake Michael we just snuck out of a camp sight at almost midnight and you are asking for a video game now?!" "Pretty much yeah" She rolled her eyes and said "Tomorrow I'll bring you to get a new game but now I just want to sleep."

Meg's P.O.V.

I curled up into a ball and tried to get comfortable. Right before I was about to fall asleep, I realized that Nick never texted me. Not even once.
