I have a few ideas for this as well :)
1. B is a nerd and A is a bully. They like them but they don't know how to express their feelings properly so they end up being really mean to B, also maybe cause their friends hate them
2. A is a bully and B is super nice so whenever they bully B they act super nicely towards them and just happily tell them off or something similar
There are more ideas but this is all I could think off
