You're characters are at war!
It could be any type of war,
A serious one big one(world war, within a country, etc)
They could be soldiers, medics, etc or maybe just victims in pain from the bombs, fires, and gunshots in their home
Or it could be a personal war
Between friends, lovers,
Maybe 2 people like the same person and they're at war for them, or they're in a fight for some reason
Another type would be war with their self/a side plot that they struggle with issues mentally, physically, etc. trauma, pain, you get it
