It turns out that she was still breathing and had a decent pulse. Eddie let out a breath he didn't know he was holding, cluing the other losers in that she should be ok.
"She'll be fine, i think she passed out from pain after the shock and adrenaline wore off from her broken nose." said Eddie.
"Good, we still need to take about half of us to the hospital though." says Stan.
"That over do you think Lexi will be ok until Ben gets back." Asked Bev distress written all over her face.
"I believe so but I am not that sure. Belch punched her really hard. I'll be shocked if she's still unconscious for a while." Replied Eddie.
Just then Ben walked out of the school. When he saw the losers, his jaw dropped.
"What the hell happened to you guys?" he asked
"Bowers." Stan responded.
"Is Lexi unconscious?" Ben continued to question.
"Yes now get in the car we're going to the ER." said Mike pulling the car around. Everyone got in, Stan and Eddie taking inventory of everyone's injury's. Virgil and Richie were hurt but not as bad as Lexi, though they did need some stitches. Since Eddie was somewhat like their own doctor he kept making sure everyone was breathing and doing ok.
"We are almost there, has Lexi woken up yet." Mike asked, worried about her.
"No not yet but she seems stable." Said Eddie. When they finally got to the hospital, Stan carried Lexi inside with the rest of the losers following. They got Lexi in immediately and Richie and Virgil went with her to try to get seen sooner.
"You know, this is a very sanitary place if you think about it." Said Eddie.
"Of course you would think that when Lexi could be dying, Virgil is bleeding all over, and Richie can't take in full breaths, its all always about how clean something is, or our likelihood of getting and infection." Snaps Stan.
"Stan ca-ca-calm d-d-down." Spoke Bill as he rubbed his back.
"Sorry, I shouldn't have put my frustration on you. It Bowers fault. Three of the eight most important people in my life are hurt and I'm stressed but thats no excuse to yell at you." Said Stan while holding on to Bill for dear life.
"It's ok, we just need to wait it out, I'm sure they'll be back soon." said Bev.
"Yeah, and it's not like their parents will come anyway." Ben added.
"Ben! What the fuck man?" Mike yelled at him.
"What?" Ben responded, "I'm just saying, if it were me or Eddie who was hurt we'd be screwed, we got off lucky."
"Just shut up." said Stan
"Why are we shutting up?" Virgil asks, walking towards them, still covered in blood but now smiling.
"What's going on! Where's Richie?" Eddie jumped up.
"He's on his way, you should just be happy it wasn't you or Ben who got hurt, we'd be screwed." said Virgil.
"See!" yelled Ben.
"Anyway," Virgil continued, "any news on Lexi yet?"
