Soft footsteps walked among the red carpeted halls, not even the empty stone walls could make an echo of the light footsteps. However, they could hear soft winces coming from the figure as she pressed her tanned bruised fingers against her nose. The young elf brunette gently massaged her pink nose, a white bandage taped across the bridge of her nose as she made it to the prince's room.

Who knew the eldest son, known to be an awkward teen, could be so violent when he was embarrassed? The young appointed knight couldn't help but grumble softly as she stood by their doorway to their room.

"Why do you think they're sending us away? Someone is going to try and kill him!" A muffled voice yelled out, causing the young elf's ear twitched. She recognized it to be Prince Callum's voice, he sounded distraught. She heard a soft thud, footsteps and a slam of a door. She assumed Prince Callum told Prince Ezran what was going on out of frustration.

'Guess he figured it out.' A growl was heard before another slam of a door broke Lian out of her thoughts, assuming it was Prince Ezran's dear companion Bait. She couldn't really blame Prince Callum for snapping at Prince Ezran, how could anyone stay calm if they knew that people are after your father, with the intent to kill? She understood his worry, and no just his, but the King's. After their talk, she understood that whoever is after the King will not stop at him, but will start coming after the rest of his family.

"Psst! Lian!" She heard a hushed whisper next to her. She knew exactly who it was. She walked towards the wall and bent down, pushing a stone into the wall as the person on the other side pulled it and pushed it aside. Wild dark brown hair popped out of the hole as they crawled and pushed themselves up. Bright blue eyes shined, with a tinge of redness to them. Tear streaks were seen on his caramel skinned cheeks as the young prince smiled at her. A yellow, blue - spotted lizard followed after him, a grunt came from it as he acknowledged her presence.

Lian nodded at the two, kneeling in front of the prince. She stared into his blue eyes as he thanked her.
"Thanks Lian." He said softly, fidgeting with his fingers as he glanced at her sword, her shield, before returning his gaze to her eyes. He gently bit his lip before opening his mouth but ends up closing it. Lian watched him struggle to come up with any words, a whimper would come out but he would stop. She understood what he was trying to say.

She let out a short breath from her nose as she patted his soft wild hair. Prince Ezran froze as he stared at her face. She had this calm look, her blue eyes held not compassion, but determination. He let out a breath he didn't know he was holding before giving her one of his brightest smiles.

"Thanks again, Lian. You always know what to do." He grinned, giving her a brief, tight hug. Lian's body became stiff as she awkwardly patted his head before he let go. The young prince scooped Bait into his arms before jogging away.

"I'm going to get more tarts! I'll be back!" He yelled over his shoulder before he ran around a corner, disappearing from her sight.

The door to the prince's room opened, and she quickly stood in front of the whole, acting as natural as she could. She watched as Prince Callum walked out with a slouch, a frown settling on his face as he closed the door. He didn't even bother to look at his knight, gruffly telling her that he'll be back, and to get Prince Ezran's stuff packed. She gave him a nod, not that he noticed as he trudged away. She assume it was the library, he usually goes there when he gets upset.

She walked into the Prince's room, not even surprised at how messy it is. She's been in here more than she can count. She noticed that Prince Callum's bag wasn't even finished packing so she decided to grab any clean clothes she could find in this jungle of a mess and neatly fold it into his bag. She did the same with Prince Ezran's bag before carrying the two bags out the room. As soon as she closed the door, a guard called out to her.
