Part 2 E
Terence was waiting outside the change room. He had already bought his suit. Though he didn't know, it matched perfectly with my dress. The suit jacket was a deep, empty, dark pit of black. The collard shirt underneath was a blue. A blue that tied together my dress and his eyes. And the tie, was pure white.
After I changed back into my clothes, I gathered up the dress and walked out of the small room. I saw Terence, but I hadn't seen his suit yet. He lifted his hand to the tag of the dress in my arms.
"Eight hundred dollars, eh? Well, it is designer." He smirked, "I don't know if you can pull this style off. You'd have to be extremely confident." The words stabbed my heart, I would prove him wrong. I twisted my hair around my forefinger and grinned.
"You think I'm not confident? Awe, that's cute. It seems like your trying to boost your confidence, by poking and prodding at mine. Hm, so niave." He gave me a cold hearted look while I smiled in triumph.
"I guess you're buying this dress."
My blood almost stopped pumping through my body.
"Ha! Your reaction was great! Let's do this again sometime." His sudden fit of laughter and smiles made me feel uncomfortable.
"Yeah, probably not. Can we go now?" This was getting really nervewracking, I didn't know what the wedding was going to be like. Or who would be there, gosh I didn't even know anyone invited. Other than Terence of course.
Terence sighed as he walked up to the register and bought my expensive dress.
After that, we left.
