Do You Know?

Do you know what its like,

To hate your life,

And not know why,

To feel anger,

Frustration,

Unexplainable sadness,

All the time,

All at the same time,

To hate everyone without a reason,

And yet still love deeply,

To feel as if your heart is committing treason,

Do you know what it is like,

To hate yourself,

And not know why,

To wake up every morning,

And hate what you see,

All your flaws,

Your imperfections,

Illuminated,

Highlighted,

In the spotlight,

For everyone to see,

To be sucked into a void,

With no escape,

Never able to escape or Ellud,

To stay silent,

While inside you scream and shout,

If you don't,

Don't say you do,

Because in this world of lies,

I might believe you,
