Chapter 7

Sebastian's pov;

She walks towards us with a careless manner. She is wearing a black mask on her face. Only her eyes are visible which are giving a mysterious look. She removes her mask while standing still and never trying to utter a single word. She is an ordinary normal looking girl. Her face is acceptable but there is a strangeness in her eyes which is very confusingly irritating. There is an awkward silence for a moment and then Ria speaks.

"Sebastian, meet Aaly my friend. Aaly! this is Sebastian. He is gonna soon to be a vamp.."

"Dead." She gets interrupted by mumbling of her friend.

"What?" Ria asks.

"Nothing. Nice to meet you Sebastian." She replies blankly.

"Oh hey.. nice to meet you too umm Aaly is it huh?" I try to sound like more confident and cool but I know in my mind from the moment we confronted, I'm not going to like her. She has that strange air of coldness with her.

"We should go now. It's getting late." She speaks while giving an impression of annoying look.

"Oh.. yeh I forgot. Let's go Sebastian I'll tell you what you need to know." Ria answer while smirking at me.

"Me? No. I think I should just stay here you know You people.." I get interrupted by her friend.

"Come on little bunny, we know you want to come and you are thirsty. Just get yourself together and come with us." She speaks with the same blank face but there is also a sad expression now appearing on her face. I am starting to get irritated by it.

"The truth is I really want to go with them. I am dying inside out of my craving. I think they would happen to be good for me." I think in my mind and decide to go with them. Aaly is soon gone ahead leaving behind me and Ria. We start walking in silent.

"Can I ask you something? Why is your friend seemed so mysterious?" I try to speak as normal as I can.

"Oh Aaly, she is like this for forever. Maybe you can ask her by yourself." She looks confused.

"What do you mean?" I ask irritatingly.
"I don't know I mean she is not like that all the time. She is actually kind of cool but today she acted weirdly. I noticed it too. I don't know what's going on with her lately." She replies thinking something in her mind and asks me suddenly.

"So how are you feeling now that you have known you are gonna be a vampire soon?"

"I can't believe this non sense. I am going with you guys out of curiosity so don't take me of some fool please. I am already in pain." I reply while feeling the pain in my right shoulder. It is increasing by the passage of time.

Ria laughs out loudly and it makes me more disgusted. I am starving.

"You are very stubborn, lad! I wonder why your fate took you here. Even if you don't know anything about it why don't you get scared like some normal human being. There is something strange in your behavior." She speaks in a curious tone.

"Well that's because I like vampire stories I mean there was a time when I think of myself as a real vampire." I reply mockingly, shaking my head.

"Oh that's great then. There is no need to tell you about the living style of vampires you know the light sensitivity and the hypnotizing thing and speed and.." She is trying to speak with an amusing expression on her face.

"Yeah yeah stop it. I know about all of this fantasies and I was mostly impressed by the power of a vampire hypnotizing their victims by removing their memories and.." I stop suddenly in shock. Ria stops too while seeing me jamming there in horror.

"What is it Sebastian? What's wrong?" She asks worriedly. She is really a caring being.
