Chapter 22

"Mom?"

"Mama..?"

"Mum, Where are ...YOU?"

"It hurts. Please don't leave me. Mom please. Say something. Mama?" He speaks in anguish. His voice is so weak yet so doubtful.

"I am here. Hey sweetheart, I am right here. Look at me. Look, you are a very handsome and brave young man. Don't be afraid. You are my son you won't be afraid." A kind voice of a woman comes from near.

"Mom, It's hurting. I am dying. I can't bear it. It's too much." He cries.

"You can do this son. Just hold on to yourself and it will be gone in a second." She speaks in a sad tone.

"I want to sleep. I am tired. Can you help me to sleep? Mama?" He mumbles in a tired voice.

"Why not darling. I am here with you. I'll help you to fall a peaceful sleep. Throw away all the thoughts and clear your mind. You will be free my son. Just go to sleep and dream of shooting stars under you gaze. Dream of flowers awakening at sunrise. Dream of raindrops kissing the ground. Dream of a beautiful quietness at night. Dream of hope my son. Just dream." She sings a beautiful and to some extent a quiet tune of a melody and the boy gets lull to sleep.

"Who is that new boy?" Tony asked Alex while eating his lunch fiercely. They were sitting in the café hall on lunch break. Everyone was looking at the new comer who just transferred here from the second branch of this college in their town.

"Oh him! His name is Sebastian. He is from the next town. His father got a transfer so the whole family had to come here." Alex replied with his mouthful of cheese burger.

"I see. Seems a good lad. I am gonna say hello to him. Wanna join?" Tony stood up from his chair and move towards the way where the new boy was sitting alone eating his lunch.

"Hey man! It's Tony here. I saw you today. We shared three consecutive classes together so I thought I should make the first move since you are fresh here." Tony spoke while standing in front of the new comer and stretched his hand towards him.

"Oh hey umm It's Sebastian and thank you for.." He looked up towards them blankly and then shook his hand with a shy smile on his face.

"Never mind boy. Just cut it all that formality. You looked pathetic sitting alone here so I was just being kind and by the way meet Alex. He is a miserable control freak. Try not to get under his influence." Tony interrupted him with his all being a cool dude appearance.

"Oh can't you just shut your mouth Tony. Well hey! Nice to meet you Sebastian." Alex spoke by giving an angry look to Tony and they sat there and started chatting with him .
