I arrived early, just as I said I would. Of course I hated having to wake up so early, but it was worth it as long as my plan worked.

I got out of my car with a yawn and slowly stepped up to the shop. Just my luck that there were no other customers. Hell, even Taehyung wasn't there.

Jimin was leaned up against the counter with a cup of coffee in his hand. His eyes instantly darted up, clearly surprised to hear the door opening so early.

I put on a tired smile. "I'm here."

He snorted. "I see that. I didn't expect you to actually come."

I shrugged and lazily sat down in my usual seat. Jimin came and sat down across from me, instinctively crossing one leg over the other.

I stared at him, examining all of his features over and over again. It amazed me how someone could look so cute and so innocent and quiet, yet have such nerves to speak to everyone as though he truly didn't have a care in the world. Hell, he even had the nerves to slap a man that was clearly bulkier and definitely older than him.

I thought of something to say, my eyes sweeping over his face. "You're- you're so... perfect."

I watched him as he sipped on his coffee. His eyes instantly widened and his face turned red.

I couldn't help but smirk in satisfaction. He awkwardly cleared his throat and stood up.

I watched him as he headed into the back room. "I- uh, I-I'll be right back."

Fantastic. I didn't mean to embarrass him so quickly, but I guess he was feeling extra self conscious or something. Maybe he just didn't get a lot of compliments like that.

I shrugged and quickly slid his coffee towards me. I reached into my pocket to pull out a capsule full of what Jin liked to call "fairy dust". I snorted just thinking about the stupid name.

I broke the capsule open and poured the powder into the brown liquid. I glanced around and found a plastic straw, to which I immediately grabbed. I quickly stirred the liquid, fully mixing the powder in before hurrying to throw the straw away.

I slid into my seat and leaned back casually as the back room's door opened and Jimin came back out. I casually ran a hand through my hair, sweeping half off to the side as usual.

Jimin sat across from me again, looking much less flustered than he had before. I watched carefully as he slowly grabbed the cup of coffee and took a small sip.

I held back a victorious smile. "So where's Taehyung?"

Jimin sighed as he took another gulp of coffee. "He likes to sleep in, so he comes in an hour later and I leave an hour earlier."

I made an "ah" in response and settled back. I slowly closed my eyes, taking a long deep breath.

Jimin downed the rest of his coffee before getting up to place the cup on the counter. When I opened my eyes again he was leaned up against the counter, gripping onto the edge tightly.

His face was pale and his eyes fighting to stay normal despite the obvious tiredness that had suddenly washed over him, desperately trying to make him just close his eyes. I watched his chest's movement get slower and slower as he seemed to get more and more exhausted.
