Holy shit its been a long time

*unedited cuz I'm in school rn :)*

IM SORRY 🙏🙏

"That gang isn't taking the bait. They must have realized that we'd have the upper hand. We need a better plan." I sat with one leg over the other.

Hoseok paced back and forth while I sat on the couch and my brother sat beside me. He had managed to be serious without any women for the past week while we tried to focus on getting the gang out of the way.

My brother sighed and broke the ice. "Well if you two are planning on taking this problem away from the house, I won't help you."

I nodded slowly. Technically my brother didn't have to help. He cleaned up my messes and I dealt with making the messes.

"We'll have to lure them. We have to make it look fair, or maybe even like we have the disadvantage, but we'll really still have the upper hand." I eyed Hoseok and waited for a response.

He continued to pace back and forth as he thought. He was silent for a solid thirty seconds before he finally looked at me.

Now it was just Hoseok and I in the room and I was sick of the unhelpful silence. "We can create a last minute party. It won't be last minute for us, but it will be for them. They work at parties and in clubs all the time, so they'll think they'll have the upper hand. They'll probably assume we'd invite random people, most of which who would probably work for them anyways, so they'd be convinced that they have the upper hand."

Hoseok slowly nodded. "A staged party."

I smirked and nodded back. "Of course we'd have to find and invite some of their undercover civilians to make it look unintentional, but we'll get to kill all of them. There can't be any witnesses, so we have to be thorough."

Hoseok laughed and clapped his hands together. "Perfect! Yes!"

"If we don't wipe them out completely, which I doubt they'd send all their men anyways, then we can at least scare them off our backs and buy ourselves enough time to focus on the original mission again."

"You've finally come up with a good plan, Jungkook!"

I narrowed my eyes. "I come up with almost all of the plans, you shithead."

Hoseok sighed. "Either way, we've got a plan."

"Yes we do."

A smirk played across my lips. I would finally be able to kill again.

"Hey, Jeon. Can you hear me? Is this working? I don't think it's working. KIM NAMJOON! DID YOU-"

I winced at Seokjin's loud voice and quickly cut him off. "Shut up! I can hear you! Are you trying to make me deaf?"

Seokjin sighed in relief. "Whoops, I thought Namjoon broke this too."

I held back a deep grumble of frustration. "I can assure you it's not broken. Now talk to me."

"Okay. Hoseok will be on the bottom floor. You'll be up top. Yoongi will be in the bottom right corner. We've called all of our men that were available, so the whole place should be full of our men. We've also hired bouncers to make sure the gang doesn't try to sneak in any extra men."

"What's the ratio of our men to their men?"

"About 3:1."

I smirked. "Even if they did figure out something and bring backup, it'd still be about 3:2. We win either way."

Seokjin gave a small grunt in agreement. "They may come in knowing what's happening or they may come in not knowing anything. I recommend waiting until they get settled in before making a move."

"That is, if they're clueless."

Seokjin hummed in agreement. "Either way, we should win."

"If our pawns here know what they're doing, then yes." I knew I couldn't rely on anyone other than myself.

Seokjin sighed. "They've had lots of practice with killing. Most of them are just like you during your first year!"

I rolled my eyes. "Tsk, great."

None of them would ever reach my level. Even if they did reach my level now, I would always be ahead of them. I was at the top. I would always be at the top.

"S-sir Jeon?"

I sighed and turned to see a younger boy. I was probably the ideal idol for most of the "kids" in my work. Of course all they were thinking was that they wanted to be badass to get lots of girls, but I knew they probably didn't realize how many people I killed for fun. By the time they realized that, they would already be far behind in the game.

"What is it?" I snapped at him, trying to make it obvious that he should be working instead of trying to talk to me.

He gulped hard. "I-I uh, I just wanted to ask h-how do you do this s-so easily? A-aren't you... scared?"

I felt my eyebrows furrow in anger. "What? Are you telling me you're scared? If you're scared to fight then what the hell are you doing here?"

Seokjin was in my ear again. "Jeon, he's just a kid."

I rolled my eyes. "How old are you? Probably late teens, yeah? Why the fuck did you want to join us? How did you even get involved with us?"

The boy gulped visibly again and slowly nodded. "I-I just, I-I thought it was cool..."

I snapped. "Cool? You think killing is cool? You thought you could just sit back and ride to the top of the chain, right? You thought being around all of us would make you into some 'cool' guy, huh? Having this job title doesn't mean anything. You have to get blood on your hands before you'll ever be like the rest of us."

The boy pursed his lips and quickly walked off. I shook my head and leaned over the railing on the second floor.

"You're very bad with kids." Seokjin spoke again.

I groaned. "Shut up!"

Seokjin laughed before he began to check me. "Do you have your knives? Guns?"

I didn't have to check. I could recognize their weight on me. After staying to the same "tools" for years, they had become my best friends.

"Yes."

"Are you wearing that vest we gave you?"

I sighed. "Yes."

Seokjin and Namjoon had insisted on having everyone in our mission crew wear bullet proof vests and pads on our thighs, too. It was obviously most common for people to get shot in the chest or thighs, both of which could be deadly.

And then there was the head. They would surely be shooting for our heads or hearts- anywhere vital, but of course they wouldn't be the only ones shooting to kill.

"Jeon, they're coming in." Seokjin kept me updated.

"Then I guess we should get this party started."
