"Heisuke, get up." You slid open the door and poked at the Shinsengumi captain with your foot.
The sunlight was shining directly into his face. The brunette mumbled something inaudible and rolled over.
"Papa, look!" Your son crawled next to Heisuke and warranted his father's attention.
He was holding up his clothes to display that he wasn't wearing anything underneath.
You snickered slightly and pulled down his top. "Stop that."
"Go put on some underwear or something." Heisuke peeked through one eye and placed a hand on his son's head.
The younger Toudou nodded and walked over to his dresser.
You stared at Heisuke on the floor and kneeled down next to his body.
Immediately, you began to poke at Heisuke's sides.
"Get up!" You demanded, tickling him ruthlessly.
Heisuke bursted our laughing and attempted to wiggle out of your grip. Your son stared at the two of you excitedly and decided that he wanted to join in.
Little Toudou came and sat right in front of his father, demanding to be tickled.
You couldn't help but laugh at this. Your son, instead of tickling his father, wanted to be tickled instead. He was always unpredictable.
Heisuke sat up and laid his son down onto the futon and continued with the tickling attack. As the two of them continued their play, you began to tidy up the room.
They got along super well since both of them were child-like.
Breakfast came around and everyone was dining together in the main hall.
"Hey! Shin!" Heisuke and Shinpachi were battling it out once again.
"There's plenty of food." You scolded the two of them. "If you want seconds, feel free to ask."
Your son was eyeing Shinpachi's food and you could see it. So while said male was busy stealing Heisuke's...
"Ask!" Little Toudou came up from behind Shinpachi and took a bite out of his rice mountain. "Yummy!" The boy exclaimed through his mouthful.
"Hey!" The older male yelled in protest. "How dare you!"
Shinpachi placed down his chopsticks and head-locked the boy with one arm while giving him a knuckle-sandwich with the other.
Heisuke tried his hardest to release his offspring from the jaws of death aka Shinpachi's grip. You couldn't help but sigh.
It was funny how your son fit in with his father no matter what they did.
A little while later, you spotted the two of them laying in the grass.
"Hey! You two are gonna get dirty!" You stomped your way over to them.
Having a child with Heisuke was like having two sons... Heisuke being one of them.
"Let's show her what we did, mini-me!" Your lover sat up quickly and hid something behind his back.
"Mama! Surprise!" Your son snatched the flower crown from behind his father's back and presented it to you instead.
Little Toudou swiftly handed you the crown and went running.
"Ah! You traitor!" Heisuke stood up and chased his child around the open area. "That was my surprise for her!"
"How about you two help me with laundry today?" You suggested.
This stopped the both of them in their tracks.
"Ahh~" Heisuke sighed, scratching the back of his neck.
"Ahh~" Your son copied his father's actions.
"I have to go on patrol with Shin right now." The brunette tip toed away.
"Patrol. Shin." Little Toudou closed his eyes and peeked an open eye at his father every once in awhile, copying his actions.
"Heisuke, you don't have patrol today." You placed your hands on your hips and stared at your husband angrily. A tick mark was present on your forehead. Then your attention shifted to the child. "And you couldn't go even if he did."
"She got us." Heisuke frowned.
"Damn it." Your son exclaimed while running away from your menacing figure.
Your eyes went wide, and so did Heisuke's.
"Did he just-?" The brunette asked, his golden orbs became spaceships.
"He did." You sighed and dropped into a squatting position. "And you're going to un-teach him that word."
