You should put on a mask I'm sick." Jonah comments as I climbed through his window and it caused me to roll my eyes. "You're not sick jo." I argued seeing jack lying in bed beside him. I raised an eyebrow seeing that Jonah had his hand intertwined with jack's and jack was fast asleep. "Since when?"
The two never showed affection or any signs of liking each other so I was confused. "He got in a fight with his step dad again, that's all." Jonah explained ussing his free hand to wipe his nose with a tissue. "I do like him though since you're wondering." Jonah said surprising me. He turned his head and looked at jack who's head was in the crook of Jonah's neck then he looked back at me. He pointed at the chair beside his bed and I took a seat.
Jonah's room was a lot different than corbyns. Jonah's room had a few posters on his wall and a bookshelf in the corner of his wall. Jonah wanted to be a nurse when he grew up and he did have the intelligence for one. "I know jack won't like me back, so stop looking at me like I'm some kind of idiot." Jonah spoke up and I nodded. "He's been dating gabbie for three years he's only running to you because he can't run to her right now." I said, I knew it was harsh but I needed jonah to understand to not chase a fantasy.
"So where did you run off to this afternoon?" Jonah quickly changed the subject. "I hung out with corbyn."
"The astronomy club leader?" Jonah said suprised. I had no idea corbyn was apart of the astronomy club but it wasn't all too surprised. I nodded and Jonah sat up in bed and put jack's head on his lap. Jack stirred a bit but was still fast asleep. "Thought you hated him, you used to always call him a nerd and annoy-"
"I kissed him. I kissed corbyn tonight and I wasn't even drunk."
I felt a bit of weight lifted off my chest when I admitted to my best friend. "You like boys now? Or just corbyn?"
"I don't really know. I just know that I feel weird around corbyn, if worse comes to worse it's just corbyn."
"Why is it so bad to like boys?" Jonah asked but he didn't seem offended just curious. "I'm not used to it that's all."
I wasn't used to it at all. It wasn't all that different to liking a girl though. Maybe it was because corbyn was different than anyone I had ever met.On the outside he looked like your average teen. A skinny, blonde, sarcastic white boy with a dashing smile. The ones who have perfect clear and pale skin with bright pink lips, who are tall and get any girl they want. Then he takes off his layers and you can see he's really into the stars and is very intelligent. He's into silly cheesy jokes that would scare girls away and if you look closer he has some acne like a normal teen.
His shirts are nerdy and he knows too many facts about the stars.Corbyn was unlike anyone I had ever met.
Jonah had gotten up to go get ready for bed in his bathroom and I looked at jack. To my suprise his eye was forming a rather huge bruise around it. He lifted his head and groaned putting his hand to his face. "Hey jack how're you feeling?"
He shook his head and closed his eyes exhaling. "I heard you and Jonah." My eyes widened "what did you hear?"
"I know jonah likes me now, I've been aware for a few weeks. He's always blushing now and stuttering and gabbie hates it." He explained and automatically I felt bad for poor Jonah. "I don't want to be the reason that our friendship falls apart so I'm trying to ignore it. Jonah's just confused right now and I'm the only close guy in his life besides you."
