“ okay what happened to you, you look like somebody pissed in your drink. ” Phoebe said as Kiya got in the car all dressed in her normal day outfit.
Kiya looked at her friend with a disgusted look, “ why would that even be your first guess? ” she asked still giving her the look.
“ cause of the angry scowl you had so I just guessed that would be the problem. ” Phoebe shrugs driving the car to school.
“ yeah cause that's the most normal thing to say to somebody early in the morning. ”
“ geez! See that's why I said it you look so angry, lighten up...you know what I know exactly what can cheer you up. ” Phoebe says.
“ what's that? ”
“ tell me a knock knock joke. ”
Kiya huffs and folds her hand staring outside the window as the trees and houses went passing by them. “ me telling you a joke won't cheer me up. ”
“ how will you know unless you try it. ” Phoebe defends, Kiya turns to look at her friend and she had the cutest innocent pout on her face.
“ okay! Knock knock ”
“ who's there? ”
“ mustache. ”
“ mustache who? ”
“ mustache you a question but I'll shave it for later. ” Kiya finishes leaving her friend in a fit of laughter.
“ Phoebe they aren't that funny. Stop laughing like a maniac please. ”
Phoebe sobers up and concentrates back on her driving, “ so are you cheered up now? ” Phoebe asked hesitantly. Kiya looks at her friend and smirks, “ of course I feel amazing, thanks Phoebs. ”
Phoebe sighs glancing at her friend “ what happened to you? ”
“ nothing...actually I met with jerk last night and he really got on my nerves. ”
Phoebe parks the car by the side of the road and turns her body to completely face Kiya, “ finally some boy drama in your life, tell me exactly how he looked like. ” she demands in an excited voice.
“ for a straight A student you really don't value school that much. ” Kiya says ignoring the glare Phoebe was giving her for changing the topic.
“ oh! Shut up, you're the same and I don't see you valuing school. Now don't stir off the topic give me info, was he tall, muscular lean body and all that stuff? ”
Kiya rolled her eyes at her friend but somehow her mind goes back to the guy she had met last night, although she didn't want to admit it out loud the guy was hot. Even though it was dark with the only source of light coming from the moon Kiya still remembered his features perfectly well.
“ God! He's damn gorgeous isn't he? ” Phoebe speaks up bringing Kiya's focus back to her surrounding. “ no what gave you that idea? ” Kiya asks faking innocence.
