Chapter 4

(Y/N)'s P.O.V

After I ran off I didn't know where to go, so I ran out of the school and towards the woods. After a while of running I collapsed beside a tree and started to cry. I am so scared what would happen if I became a wolf, what if my Father found where I was and what I was and hurt the pack to get to me? I just started to come up with all of these scenarios in my head casing me to have a panic attack, it felt like I couldn't breathe, I could feel my lungs constricting for air I tried to slow my breathing to calm down, but I couldn't. I sat there hyperventilating, I thought I heard someone scream my name but everything was muffled. Next thing I knew my line of sight was blocked by someone standing in front of me they were trying to talk to me but I couldn't understand anything they were saying. Suddenly, everything turned black.

Wynter's P.O.V

I was walking through the woods, looking for (Y/N) thinking she might have gone here. I saw her sitting on the ground breathing heavily. "(Y/N)!" I yelled, I walked up to her slowly realizing that she was having a panic attack I ran up to her and crouched in front of her I tried to calm her down but it didn't seem to have any effect, she eventually passed out from her hyperventilating. Not knowing what else to do I picked her up and carried her to the den. I stayed there with her to make sure nothing happened. I waited there thinking of a way to explain to Wyatt or Willa why (Y/N) was here passed out. When Wyatt walked in and saw me standing by the bed that usually held a sick pack member. He walked over confused and stood behind me, "Is everything okay Wynter?" He asked. I moved out of the way so he could see who was on the bed when her saw that it was (Y/N) his eyes got wide and he rushed to her side. "What happened?" he asked "She was having a panic attack and I couldn't get her to calm down so when her lungs couldn't handle the lack of air she passed out." I explained to him. He nodded in understanding.

(Y/N) P.O.V

I jolted awake freaking out at first not recognizing where I am then I slowly calmed down realizing that I was in the den. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes and put a hand on my forehead. I felt someone put a hand on my shoulder I turn my head slightly to see Wyatt standing there looking at me worried. "What happened?" He asked. I looked down, but I didn't know if I should tell him about my fa-Augustus. I sighed as I had finally decided to tell him, but I'm not ready to tell the pack just yet I just want Wyatt to know. "I'm scared, to become a wolf." I said. "Why?" He asked. "Someone who I thought was my father disowned me. Because I stood up for the wolves. The prison I told you about it is run by my fa-I mean Augustus the man who adopted me and raised me as my own until I told him that I felt like one of them. He told me that if I felt like one of them that I should be treated like one of them he then proceeded to try and arrest me. That's when Willow and I ran and she got the guards off of our trail. She gave me her necklace and told me to come here and find you she said that you would take care of me." I told him. He looked at me with pity. "I am so scared that if I do become a wolf he comes after me that he will hurt you or the pack to get to me, only God knows what he's done to Willow." I said tears running down my face. He pulled me into a tight embrace and whispered into my ear, "I know your scared, but the pack will be here for you no matter what we will always be by your side when you need us, I think you are the Great Alpha but I want you to be ready for this I will support you and so will Wynter and Willa you will always have us." When we pulled apart he smiled at me. I nodded and took a deep breath "I'll do it, I'll become a wolf, I'll be your alpha." I said and smiled. He got up and offered me his hand I grabbed it and he pulled it up and we walked towards the middle of the den. "ATTENTION!" Wyatt yelled getting the whole packs attention "(Y/N) has decided to become a wolf she said she will be our Great Alpha there are things that she is not ready for you guys to know yet so bear with her and give her time to get to know you." Wyatt announced he then turned towards me and put Willow's necklace around my neck. All of a sudden I was lifted off of the ground and surrounded by a bright light. When the light faded I had red glowing eyes, claws that were about an inch long, and, white braided hair. Outfit wise I had a black leather jacket on over a purple tank top, tan ripped skinny jeans, and black ankle boots on. When my feet touched the ground I felt this wake of relief was over me and I looked at Wyatt and smiled. I looked up at the huge moon that was bright in the sky and howled. Everyone around me howled as well. Once we stopped Wyatt walked up to me and hugged me "I told you that you were the Great Alpha." He said smiling.
