G183 awakens with a start.
The place he finds himself in is different once more.
His head pounds as he takes a moment to compose himself and the sedatives begin to lose their effect.
He's in a medium sized transport ship.
G183 has been in one a thousand times before, though he has no memory of them.
The soldiers around him load their guns, and strap on their armor.
The Captain.
A mountain of a man standing at 6'3 with shoulders as broad as a train.
This man, despite his high rank, treats everyone with dignity and kindness.
This has earned him the respect and admiration of not only his men, but the creature in the ship with them.
He knows this one.
Memory of him lays in G183's head like a bandage, bridging together the fractures in his mind.
The Captain loads his pistol, and slides it into his holster as he approaches the creature.
He sits on the ground, chains anchor him in place, and a muzzle locks his jaws in position.
The Captain's gentle touch on his snout seems natural to the creature.
As if it knows he means it no harm.
The Captain recalls his earlier conversation with the Doctor, during which they discussed their harsh treatment of this animal.
"Has he been fed?"
He asked, much to the one of it's handlers surprising amusement.
"No. They like to starve it, It's more ferocious that way."
G183's eyes snap into focus as the Captain reaches behind him.
From a pouch in his belt, he pulls a small ration.
He holds it in his hand, close to the creatures nose.
After a few inhaling breaths, G183 recognizes what it is.
The captain then does the unthinkable.
He removes the muzzle.
Though cautious, the Captain allows the creatures head to grow close to his hand.
It's jaws part.
He doesn't know if the animal will recognize him, deep inside he prays that it does.
In a swift yet gentle motion, the animal takes the small amount of food from his hand.
The movement is so swift and so minute, had he not been looking, he wouldn't have known it had taken place.
The creature rears its head to look him in the eyes.
Even on its belly, it's head sits just a little above his.
It coos quietly as if expressing appreciation for the small gift.
The Captain, gently slips the muzzle back over G183's mouth.
No one else in the cabin pays the creature any mind.
They have all seen him a thousand times, his appearance is no longer shocking to them as it once was.
With its dark blue skin and big crystal amber eyes.
"Captain, we're approaching the drop."
Calls the pilot from the cockpit.
The Captain nods.
His men know what comes next.
They all know the plan.
G183 is to drop in the forest near the compound.
The rest of them will drop nearest to the gate.
G183, is to sneak in the compound without being spotted.
Once everyone is in position, he is to make his presence known in any way possible.
As far as he goes, this is G183s only objective.
Hopefully the attention he gathers, will be enough to cover the infiltration of the Captain and his team.
The Doctor designed this creature to be perfect.
Punches don't stagger him.
Bullets do little to phase him.
He's virtually unstoppable, with nearly endless stamina and incredible strength for his seemingly slight build.
His keen sense of smell allows him to track a month old trail.
"Let's get those chains off him."
The Captain commands.
Two of the soldiers get to work, freeing their beast from his chains.
"The light is green."
Frigid air fills the cabin as the large hydraulic door begins to crack open.
G183 shivers lightly as his body begins to regulate his temperature, trying to match that of the air to render him invisible to thermal imaging.
This also helps him to keep his body from falling into a comatose state.
The Captain walks over to the creature.
"Go get 'em, bud."
He says.
Once the muzzle is removed, the beast without hesitation turns and leaps out.
It's a long fall to the Canadian forest floor.
Almost 2,000 feet.
The Doctors monster can handle it.
His digitigrade legs were designed to absorb incredible shock, meaning he can survive a fall even when his speed exceeds terminal velocity.
A fall from the height of a thousand feet into snow will not prove to be any obstacle for him.
The insurrectionists chose this place because of its remote location, which helps hide their experiments from the rest of the world.
Experiments, that the Captain and his team are here to uncover. From his office, the Doctor and the Director can watch the feed from the camera on the creatures neck.
From here, they are able to observe and regulate his body functions and movements.
What G183 does not know is that he was made with several incredible abilities.
The Doctor, for the safety of all involved, keeps them hidden from G183 himself, only revealing them when absolutely necessary.
The Doctor allows his body to instantly heal itself when damaged.
It's strength can be increased hundred fold.
These abilities alone, make him an already deadly asset.
These are the ones the Doctor allows him to use most often, though G183 has no memory of them.
He must relearn these skills for each drop.
The Doctor installed a sort of lock in its brain that limits its access to these hidden abilities.
Nearly every aspect of Him is under control.
The Doctor truly has created a masterpiece.
The Doctor describes it as a 'symbiotic relationship'.
G183 does not know much of the English language, but he knows enough to understand that this is a lie.
This relationship goes one way.
It is not mutually beneficial.
And the monster knows it.
