The world sucks! You can't trust anyone. It was saturday. It's been two weeks since I saw Stefan. I hated him and his bunch. They were so cruel.

I sat on the bed wrapped in my blanket and stared out of the window. The open ground was empty for a while then all the gypsies came out and sat around on the benches around some one. Some one else stood up after a while and began talking. I made out that it was Stefan. I turned over and lay back. I hated him....but I still loved him. But I saw what I saw. He had cheated on me. Gran was right.

Someone knocked on the door. "Millie sweet heart, come out." It was Nana. Her voice was calm. She didn't seem sad. I went and opened the door. I stared. We hadn't talked or seen each other in a while. I had food from the tea shop in the morning, packed something for lunch over there then had food in the evening after class from there and just came back.

Gran almost looked like her old self.

"Gran?", I asked.

" Come on out from hibernating poppet. I think you and I need to talk".

I followed after her to the flat which was now nice and clean. I sat on the kitchenette counter while Nana poached some eggs.

" It's time we moved on." I acted like I hadn't heard that."It's what your Grandpa would have wanted." I heard that and I knew she was right.

" Gran..I .."

"And I'm sorry about what I said about Stefan .He's a lovely boy. Call him over."

I was silent. Gran looked at me. " You don't have to tell me. Things will turn out alright. Then there's also one more thing on the agenda. The protest." I had almost forgot. I didn't want to protest. "We have to tell them that your Grandpa's spirit is still with us. That we aren't going to give up." I was thinking about where we would start from. We lost the gypsies and their herb. Wht were we going to do?

" And Millie, your Grandpa would want you to forgive Ferka."

That was one thing I wasn't going to do.
