For the love of cosplay

While we were at dinner I started asking each other questions about our life and what are we planning to do in the future. 

"So, zenith what are your plans for the next year." Nikki asked. "Well I'll be hopefully graduating from school and then I may be moving down to Gainesville or Jacksonville. It will most likely be Gainesville because I have family there." I said before taking a sip of my drink. "Really that sounds good." Liz said. Yeah those two cities are the only cities that actually have like a job for me." I answered them. "What do you have your degree in. Nikki asked I have a degree in forensics so basically helping with criminal investigations by finding out the cause of death in taking samples and identifying the suspect to help make an arrest." I explain to them. "Oh...Wow.. that is very interesting." Amanda said. "Yeah I most likely won't make it to a lot of cons when I start my job. But who knows I maybe go to a few here and there every once in a while. But I don't start that until about a few months after I graduate." I said to them as I took another sip of my drink. "Yeah basically every time we watch like Criminal Minds, NCIS or CSI when they say something that I don't understand and I'll just look at Zenith to have her explain it to me." Hannah said while laughing. "Yeah but once I do explain everything that they're saying and what they're doing you get weirded out and grossed out. Then you start freaking out like a child." I say teasing her.

After about an hour we finished up with dinner we walked back to the hotel. "Hey for the rest of the night do you just want to hang out in mine and Zenith's room." Hannah asked everyone. "Yeah sounds good to us." Rachel said looking at everyone. "Let's go then" Hannah said we skipping towards the elevator. "You are so weird." I said shaking my head. "Yes, I may be weird but you love me." Hannah said giggling as we got into the elevator. 

We got back to our rooms. We all decided that we would get changed into some sleep clothes and then hang out in our room. We turn the TV on and start watching what was on TV. There are also times where we showed each other our old Tik Tok videos from our pages. So, what are you cosplaying tomorrow?" Amanda asked curiously. "I'm doing a version of Lara Croft from Tomb Raider." I say to them. "Yeah she looks really good as Lara Croft. Lara Croft one year for homecoming week or we had to dress up as our favorite character." Hannah added. "Yeah but that one was kind of simple and I was rushing to put that together. But this one I took a little longer trying to get it somewhat almost exactly like the outfit in the movie." I added to her comment. "Really that is going to be really cool to see." Liz said. "Yeah I let's just hope that every piece of the costume cooperates and does not try to be difficult especially the wig." I say as I started to yawn a little bit. 

*Ring Ring*

Just then, I heard my phone ring I looked at my phone on so it was my parents. "Hey guys excuse me for a minute my parents are calling me all just step outside and talk to them for a little bit." I said excusing myself and walking out into the hall grabbing the key to the room just in case I needed it.

(Z=Zenith/ P=Parents)

Z= Hey mom and dad how are you guys doing.

P= Hey zenith we are good. How is hol-mat going.

Z= It is good met a lot of fans.

P= That's a good thing how is Hannah doing.

Z= She is good she is having a lot of fun with taking pictures. She's also getting a lot of material for her senior project.

P= So is there anyone else you have met there.

Z= I mean I have met my favorite cosplayers and somehow now we're friends still don't know how that happened.

P= Well anything can happen in this world sweetheart.

Z= Yeah I guess you're right. Also will be leaving around 1 tomorrow to start heading back home.

P= Well okay be safe coming back. Remember to text me when you are on your way if you get tired stop and take a break switch off with Hannah if you need to.

Z= Alright I will I'll let you know love you guys bye.

P= Bye I love you too.

We both said our goodbyes to each other and hung up the phone. I place the key into the door and unlock the door. As I walked in, I could hear everyone laughing about something that either Hannah said it or Nikki said it because of her pointing at one of the two. "I think it is about time always go to bed well house three of them somewhat early in the morning." Liz said yawning. "Yeah you are right I want to buy stuff for my family tomorrow since I have been sidetracked and not able to do it this whole weekend." I said while going to the bathroom to brush my teeth. "Bye girls see you in the morning." Amanda said while they left out the door. "Bye have a nice night." Hannah said she waved at them.

"I had fun tonight. I wish we could do this more often just hang out and talk. I felt like this weekend went by so fast it's crazy." Hannah said while she plugged her phone on. "I know what you mean I can not believe that I met my favorite cosplayers and got to hang out with them and then we are now friends with them. Like how is that even possible. It feels like it's all been a dream." I say in disbelief still not believing what has all happened this weekend.
