Chapter 14

Xue Yang knocked on the door waiting for a response. Wei Ying was inside trying to calm the crying kid in his arms.

"Don't worry Lan zhan, I've got it!" Wei Ying yelled in a tone because Lan Zhan had pissed him off that morning. Wei Ying held open the door to see Xue Yang. Wei Ying moved back, slamming the door and grabbing his sword, pulling it out and walking back to the door.

"What the hell do you want?" Wei Ying got scared and Lan zhan ran to the rescue and looked out.

"This is no place for a mutt now go find your owner!" Wei Ying cursed him out but Lan zhan soon calmed him down. Lan zhan walked out and looked at Xue Yang.

"He's right. Get out, I don't want you anywhere near us! How did you even get out!"

Xue Yang knew this was going to be hard so he gave him the letter from Nie Huaisang. Lan zhan read over it.

"So you've been to the Jiang sect?"

"Yes. I've come to um take care of Wei Ying his whole pregnancy. I mean while you watch the twins of course. It's part of my taste-"

"Get out... I know this is a trick. We don't need your help..." As Lan zhan said that he heard Wei Ying throw up his guts into the sink. Lan zhan heard his husband throwing up his guts which made him look down.

"Please. I know it's hard and I have some stuff so Wei Ying can have an easy few months..." Xue Yang tried once more.

"N-no just go back! Go back home!"

"Home? Lan Wanji I don't think you get it. I have no home. Nie Huaisang has been watching out for me. I want to do a good deed and you're giving me a hard time! I had a sect but not anymore-"

"You did and who's fault was it to kill everyone else's trust cause you simply can't be good!" Lan zhan snapped, truly not trusting Xue Yang. It made sense though. Their past was screwed up. And Wei Ying certainly didn't help that.

Xue Yang looked at him in disgust. He moved back. Another person who hated him...

"I'm trying to be good!" Xue Yang said, now wanting to cry. At that moment someone behind Xue Yang touched his arm. And pulled him in for a hug. It wasn't Lan zhan, it was a person in white though...

Xue Yang looked up and saw Xiao Xingchen. His heart skipped a beat. Why? Why is he here?! What is he doing?

"I truly apologize to Mr. Wanji this won't happen again. I'll be taking him home. But it was true. All he did was want to help." Xiao Xingchen bowed and walked away dragging Xue Yang by the hair. Xue winced trying to get Xiao Xingchen to let go of him.

"Ouch let go!" Once they were out of sight and on the right path for Yi city Xiao Xingchen spoke. He threw Xue Yang to the dirt. His face was not looking at Xue. Xue Yang looked up knowing deep down he was at fault even though he had tried his best to get Xiao Xingchen back, but now that he was back he felt like it was fake.

"You don't know how much I care for you! First I help you get out of the whole Nie Huaisang thingy. Helped you with Wei Ying and Lan zhan! I mean someone would have to love you with everything they have to get you, XUE YANG OUT OF THIS MESS!!" Xiao Xingchen turned his back to Xue Yang. "Here you are not giving a shit! I understand that you're trying to change! But please give people their space!" Xiao Xingchen stopped regaining his breath. Xue Yang looked up and then down to his belly.

"Wow, thanks for being nice to your kid! You know what... I'll leave. I don't need that blind brat of yours!" As he got up to walk away Xiao Xingchen grabbed his arm and pulled him back.

"Not till you get manners!" Xiao Xingchen set his hands on his head and soon grabbed up Xue Yang to walk back to their home.

Lan zhan ran back in to help his husband who was now sitting.
