Everything was a blur, it was moving too fast. I felt a little bad though. The makeover that Chaewon so generously had given me, was beginning to be ruined by the heavy rain. The eyeliner running down my face as if I was in some type of cheesy chick flick. I didn't even know were I was running to, even worst than that.

I was starving. The makeover was nice, but she couldn't have given me any food? Maybe that was her plan. I should've stopped thinking, my head was hurting. I heard a thud, and a scream. I didn't really care. I didn't know who that was, someone had seemed to get hit by a car. The rain was making everything seem so much more faster.

"Olivia!" I heard a voice call out, Chaewon's voice. Why was she calling me, I couldn't go back. She would try to persuade me to stay with her, I couldn't do that. I couldn't put her life in danger like that.

I was in a dilemma. My eyes darted from the road in front of me, to the direction I heard Chaewon call out. I cursed under my breath, and began to change my direction I was going to be in trouble. I stopped in my tracks, my socks beginning to become wet from the flooding. I looked up, the rain wasn't letting up and I saw a flash of lighting. I took a deep breath and continued to run.

I slowly came to a halt, once I saw Myungdae talking on the phone in a seeming panic. I looked over at Chaewon. She was hurt, terribly. I ran over to her not thinking properly.

"Are you okay?" I asked her, stupidly. I knew she wasn't. I didn't give her time to answer, "Hit and run?" I looked at her body, my eyes getting wider as I examined. Her leg appeared to be broken and her arm was twisted.. weird.

"You came back." She said, her voice airy and eyes half-shut.

"How did this happen?" I asked her, I felt a bit sick to my stomach.

"Chasing you." She gave me short answers, she answered with spite. She appeared to be insulating that the reason she got hit was ME?

I opened my mouth but no words came out, was she serious right now? I didn't ask her to come chasing after me. I began to hear ambulance sirens. I panicked. I looked at Chaewon. Her eyes were still half-shut but I knew she was staring at me. She really pissed me off just now, so I took off without saying goodbye. I immediately regretted it though, I wouldn't have the chance to get back to her, the ambulance caters to this rich more immediately and effectively.

I saw a nearby skateboard, which I swear hadn't been there before. I never rode one but I needed to meet Chaewon at that hospital. I needed to get to her, I can't leave her like that. I really do care about her.. Whether she still cares about me or not.

I grabbed the skateboard, and began to think to myself.

How the hell do you work this?

I put the skateboard under my left foot, and began to push ahead on my right. It was working, it was totally refreshing in this rain. I followed the ambulance truck on my skateboard. Hoping they wouldn't notice, I hid behind a few trees, and dodged some cars.

I was really getting a hang of the skateboard thing. The only problem is that I wasn't fast enough. I had a hard time turning the corners.

"Are you kidding me.." I said to myself, once I realize that I had lost the truck in the blur of the rain. I looked around and a car slowed down near me. My eyes opened wide. Was I about to get kidnapped.

"Go away!" I said in a panic, I didn't know where to go, or where to move. The flooding had made every single car splash water on my brand new outfit.

"Get in! It's me!" The voice sounded familiar... Myungdae! It popped like light bulb. I quickly hopped in the passenger seat. I didn't know what to say, out of all people I didn't expect Myungdae to come to the rescue.

"Thank you." I said, and I got a good look at him. He was Chae- Gowon's fidgety assistant, I had heard some about him when Chaewon had wrote me letters. He was always moving his hands. His fingers tapping the surface of the wheel, and biting his lip all the time, like he was nervous.

He had brown hair, and sapphire eyes. It didn't match, I knew they were contacts. He didn't have to be self conscious about his brown eyes, everyone has them in Korea. He was still cute. cute in a.. little brother type of way.

He didn't speak to me, he was nervous. So when he finally spoke after what felt like forever staring out the window I was surprised to say the least.

"The hospital is really far away.."

I just nodded and spoke a small, "Hm."my gaze still focused on the city lights and rain out of the window.

"Gowon cares a lot about you."

I turned away from the window, and looked at him before slowly turning towards the windshield, "Doesn't seem like it."

"You really shouldn't be like that."

Who the hell was he? I mean, I knew- but why did he just speak to me like that? Maybe he knows more than I do, so I just didn't respond.

"You should see the look on her face when she speaks about you, and when she writes to you."

I furrowed my eyebrows, what was he going on about?

"Excuse me, why are you looking at her that hard?" I said, turning to face the driver.

He just let out a small laugh, rolling his eyes. "You're already getting jealous."

I wasn't even jealous..

"What're you even getting at."

"You don't think you're in love or anything?"

I tilted my head, keeping a straight face.

"Nah, I don't like her in that way."
