They both sat on the edge of the terrace, they looked on to the horizon. 
"You know am leaving soon, right? "
"Yes" 
"You know I truly don't want to leave"
"you have a life out there Chase"
"my life is here, with you; come with me"
She smiled, "I wish I could, I truly do but I don't belong there "
"you belong with me "
Hycis only stared at him, so he continued 
"all the while that I thought I was in love with Allania, it wasn't until I found out that the only thing that could keep me alive... Was your love that I knew what I was missing, and am not going to lose it now"
"you won't, I will always love you, no matter what"
Chase smiled "then you wouldn't mind this" he moved closer and planted a kiss on her lips...

Celebrations rocked the realm of Maregere, both young and old celebrated the aeonic savior and the defeat of Kelpas Aleaxetris, the most feared Aeden in the history of Maregere.
Chase left the palace after the soul reavers came to Aranor to claim back their god stones; it seems the gods pardoned the soul reavers and gave them forgiveness, no one knows why and no one dared question the gods. well, no one except him. He walked all the way to training grounds in the woods; he could still remember when he hated the early morning training he and Ralnor had here.
Chase stood on the hilly part and looked back towards the palace; he didn’t see Xer appear beside him, but he felt the presence.
“Your plan worked Chase Drengriel” Xer spoke and Chase smiled without facing the god.
“Kelpas was so predictable”
“How did you know he would go against the dark gods?”
“When I meditate enough, my link to every aeon grants me precognition; I saw it coming”
“You are right, you are not your father, you are better”
“I wouldn’t fail where he did, but without his help all these would have been for nothing”
Xer nodded and gave Chase his bow, “It is time you have this back”
“Without this bow we wouldn’t have made a success”

Chase stood on his feet and helped the captain up, “We need to get to the Midlands, I did a location spell before healing you; it seems that Kelpas took them prisoner but I can’t seem to sense Hycis”
“The Aeden?” Greybeard asked in horror, Chase nodded and started walking, “If it is true, then this is suicide”, Greybeard said trying to place the gun on his waist and walking at the same time.
“Not when you have an army” he stopped and lifted his hands in front of him; his eyes glowed, releasing a bright blue light and the wind caught up with ferocity.
The circle pulsed with magic and Chase faced the captain, “I need you to gather every able man in No-man’s land, lead them toward Erevale”
“But will they follow me command”
“Step into the circle” the captain did as he was asked, “when you speak, they shall listen” with a snap of his fingers, the captain vanished.
Chase reinforced the spell and stepped into the circle; the portal whisked him away and he landed on golden floors.
“Not many can access this realm without the god stones” the voice of the king of the gods was thick and resonating.
“You must be Xer, the king of the gods”
“I am, and you must be Chase, the son of Korvac Drengriel”
“I prefer Castle, Chase Castle”
Xer chuckled, “Drengriel means Castle in the ancient tongues; but, what are you here for?”
“I need you to hold onto something for me” Chase presented the bow Hycis gave to him as a gift.
“A bow? And why would I safeguard a bow for you, child” 
“This bow was a token of love; it was gifted to me by someone who loved me, deeply” Chase gave a short pause, “I enchanted it, it now serves as a kind of Horcrux”
“You mean a relic”
“Yes, to kill me, you need to destroy this bow, when Kelpas takes my essence, I will die, but if this bow is safe, I will survive death itself”
“Where do you think it can be safeguarded?”
“Somewhere Kelpas will never be able to sense it”

“…it was smart of you to give the soul reavers the bow; Kelpas’ powers couldn’t sense it there” Xer said
“For their freedom, they would do anything; am just glad we are through with this” Chase replied
“Me too” Xer responded, with that Chase destroyed the bow as the enchantment on it was already spent.
“I have no need for this anymore”, he said as the bow turned to dust.
“Why?”
“When I collected legion, he returned to me and granted me full access to all the essence of every aeon before me; but I have lost their consciousness as a result of this”
“Even without his consciousness, your father is still with you, never forget that” 
Chase smiled, “I never will”
“Your time here is up, Chase you must return to your own realm”
“I have a lot to do here”
“I am sure the drengrin brothers can take care of it”
“and Hycis?”
“She will be fine, Chase, but she belongs here, you don’t”
“I can always visit right?”
“Of course, you are currently the most powerful in the known universe, what can possibly stop you”
Xer held out his hand and Chase took it; a blinding light covered the forest…

Chase squint his eyes as the sun rays graced his face; he stood up and saw that he was back in his room, he was back on Earth.
He looked around the room, how much he missed seeing normal things; he caught the whiff of his mom’s cooking; he smiled and rushed to the bathroom, with a snap of his fingers, he was all clean and dressed up. 
He rushed down the stairs and saw his mom blowing the half burnt cake.
“That looks sweet”
His mom looked up and smiled, “I see you are ready for school early”
“I can’t be late every time mom”
He walked to the door, “Won’t you take something for the road”
Chase stopped and looked back, “I am feeling kinda full today”
“Are you sure?”
“Positive” he closed the door and headed out.

He headed to his locker, today’s class was magnificent and besides he got to answer a question that Garrick couldn’t. He kind of know the answer to all the question in class today, even the teacher said he must have uploaded the entire Wikipedia overnight to be that good all of a sudden.
He was about to open his locker when Garrick and his goons pulled him into the boys locker room.
“Hey, look, I didn’t mean to make you feel bad earlier”
“Oh too late, I already feel bad”
“Hey I might need to call for help this time, come on man, we are in school, and couldn’t it wait till later”
“Sorry Chase, but have got better places to be later” he punched Chase right in the face; Chase staggered backwards.
He sighed and said, “I warned you”, he caught the next punch and even before they Garrick could react, he threw the bully against the ceramic wall. The other two came at him but they were pushed back as Chase blasted them away with a concussive beam. They were knocked out, Chase walked to the door.
“I didn’t mean help for myself, but for you; I hope the hospital was the better place you wanted to be later” he opened the door and left them in the locker room unconscious.
