Neighbors In Love Joshaya Completed

Chapter 1

Maya looked out of her window straight into the apartment next to her where a boy sat playing a guitar as she smiled.
She did love that boy more than anything but knew he didn't feel the same.
Even if she could have it over she couldn't.
She exhales as she goes to sit on her window frame picking up a book she was busy with earlier.

Josh stops playing the chords of his guitar his parents got him a year ago looking through the window finding the girl he has known his whole life from the side.
Her blonde hair was lose and her blue eyes shimmered more than ever in the late evening moonlight.
It was obviously very late, around eleven pm actually heading to midnight when Josh saw the girl.
She should have been in bed probably but she didn't actually get to that point.

Maya has had a crazy childhood and Josh has pretty much seen most of it.
He knows about the father not showing up anymore and about the mother who basically ignores her but he doesn't know what the case actually was.

She looked up from her book as he quickly stood up trying to avoid her from noticing that he was looking at her.
She shook her head as she quickly closed her book before she threw a blanket over her body where she was laying in the bay window as she liked to call it.

Josh sighed as he closed his curtain knowing that the girl was probably very poor but didn't know how she was living her life.
She was sleeping in a window and she definitely did look like she had some kind of eating disorder.

Each year where he has known the girl it didn't seem like she has gotten a better life.
A elderly woman comes by every week or so but lately that hasn't happened as much as it used to.

Josh plopped down on his own bed as he took a quick second to identify how long it has been going on.
The girl was everything besides normal but goodness does know why and he didn't want to get too involved either.
So he just kept himself out of it.
He switched his bed lamp off as he closed his eyes.
