Josh walked into the bakery as he saw Maya busy with some kind of paperwork smiling as he went to the counter.
Maya looked in front of her seeing the young guy going towards Topanga as she continued to write.
"Topanga, what is your connection with the girl?" Josh asked.
"I just hired her and went to drop off some of Riley's old stuff she no longer uses. She doesn't seem like she has had a job in ages," Topanga said.
"No, she hasn't. We live across each other. I saw you guys were there this morning but didn't want to ask what is going on. I've seen her in some pretty rough times so I'm glad that someone is helping her," Josh said as Maya walked over to Topanga.
"Think I'm doing a sound check," Maya said.
"That's fine. Go ahead," Topanga said as Maya went on the stage as Josh sat down.

Josh was completely amazed about what he had just heard but of course he knew he was going to get quite a few more surprises like that.
"Good job," Josh said and Maya turned around facing the guy in his mid twinties.
"What are you doing here?" Maya asked and Josh looked at her.
"So you know who I am?" Josh asked as he showed with his hand that she could sit down.
"Yeah, I do," Maya said.
"That all you're gonna say?" Josh asked as Maya smiling shook her head.
"What do you want to hear, Josh?" Maya asked.
"I'm glad you're doing better," Josh said as he left.
