It was Friday and Arthit was ready to go for his appointment with Dr.K. Five months were almost done. The Omega felt a happy bubble in his chest. Last check-up was great, as Dr. K had assured them that both babies were growing perfectly. Even the weaker one had picked up pace, which meant that whatever they were doing was working. Kongpob and Arthit were pleased to hear this and they thanked the doctor as well as Wayo who was taking care of Arthit with complete dedication.
Arthit was standing in front of the mirror, looking at his stomach, which definitely seemed bigger each day. Soon it will be the last trimester and the Omega felt amazed at how fast the time had gone. The light blue shirt he was wearing, already felt slightly tight on his baby bump. Arthit made a mental note to remind Kongpob that they would have to go shopping for some pull-on slacks and baggy t-shirts.
Today, only Wayo was accompanying him. Kongpob had an important presentation and both Arthit and Wayo had assured him that they could go to the doctor's on their own. The older Omega had promised to take care of Arthit and told Kongpob that he will relay everything after the appointment. The pregnant Omega was glad they had Wayo now, so Kongpob didn't have to adjust his work for days like this.
Arthit heard a car pull up and knew Wayo had arrived. He went to the living room opened the front door before the bell rang. He turned back to grab his keys, wallet and files, and heard Wayo enter the house.
As Arthit turned to greet the elder man, his jaw dropped. The couple had by now become used to Wayo's quirky sense of fashion, but Arthit still couldn't believe his eyes.
Wayo was grinning and waved a hand in front of the pregnant man, "N'Arthit, you okay?"
"Owww, Phii! Your hair!"
Wayo twirled his head a bit, which made the hair go round, "Doesn't it look fabulous! I have a party to go to tomorrow night and the theme is red. It is one of my closest friend's wedding anniversary, and so I decided to dye my hair red as well. Don't you like it?"

Arthit blinked up. Wayo was indeed looking very good. The dark red hair made his pale skin pop and his fluffy cheeks puff up. But he was also looking rather hot if the mated Omega might say. He nodded, letting the man know he did like it a lot, "You are looking...umm..what is the word..oh..yes. You are looking gorgeous Phii. I bet Dr.K wouldn't even know what hit him."
Wayo frowned and narrowed his eyes He shook his head as they both headed out of the house. "What? You are insane.."
As the two were getting into the car Arthit said, "Well..I noticed his eyes linger on you a lot at each appointment. And at one point I think I even saw his Alpha flash.."
Wayo snorted as he started the car, "You are just imagining things. Are you talking to Dr.Pasinkar behind my back?"
"No Phii. I'm sure Dr.K likes you, a lot even.."
Their banter continued throughout the ride and only moved to other topics as they entered the hospital.
Dr.K smiled as he saw Arthit enter his office. He was happy that the crisis, in this case, had been averted. Arthit looked healthy in the past two months and that is exactly how the rest of the months should go. He greeted the Omega and gestured for him to take a seat. He then realized no one else entered the room and craned his head to look through the door.
He turned and smiled at Arthit, "You came alone today?" Just then the door barged open and Wayo entered. Arthit saw Dr.K freeze as he saw the Omega. This time the engineer was sure he saw the Alpha flash in Dr.K's eyes and it was longer than a few seconds. Arthit smirked as he mentally fist-pumped. The new hair might just push the Alpha to make a move.
"Umm..sorry I got a call I had to take," Wayo spoke and that brought Dr.K back.
He cleared his throat, "Well. It's okay, take a seat so we can start. And I don't have to endure your company much longer."
Wayo's face heated up with rage. The pink flush and the red hair, well Arthit thought he looked rather funny but also didn't miss the way Phana's breath hitched. He decided to interrupt before Wayo exploded though, "Phii, please sit down."
The red-haired man took a deep breath and nodded.
"So, everything looks good, so far. I don't think any changes in the medication are needed, at this point. You guys are doing a good job of taking care of things."
"Of course. You wouldn't expect any less, either from this couple or me, right?" Wayo goaded.
"Of course," the doctor said curtly.
After the doctor explained a few more details, it was time for them to leave. But just as thetwo reached the door Phana called out, "Just a minute, can I have a word, KhunPanitchayasawad? Privately?"
