A few days after Kongpob and Arthit hired Wayo, the couple found themselves once again seated on the uncomfortable hospital chairs, waiting for their name to be called. They had finished their scheduled sonography and were now impatient to see what Dr. K had to say. Kongpob was holding his Phii's hand nervously and was looking around whenever someone entered the room. He was actually looking for a short, cute and fluffy guy to come in.
In the past few days, with continuous interactions with Wayo, Kongpob had started to admire the young man. He was keen and eager to work and was very particular in every aspect that concerned the pregnant Omega. They had now detailed a schedule where Wayo would come every morning, check Arthit's blood pressure and sugar levels. He would ask about any aches or pains or even nausea and other regular things that Arthit might be feeling. He would then prepare breakfast and lunch for Arthit, get him his medicines and pack and label everything for work. Kongpob had said that he would as of now take care of the evening meals and medicines himself and so Wayo came in only once a day. Wayo had assured them that he would be available anytime and that Kongpob should call him if there was any cause of concern or any such thing.
Overall Kongpob had been very impressed with the older man's dedication to his work and it helped that Arthit had taken to the bubbly and cheerful nature of the man. The Alpha too had to admit that it was pleasant to see a happy face every morning that would just pipe up the energy in the house. Wayo's dressing sense was over the top as far as Kongpob was concerned, but it somehow matched with his funny and quirky personality. He wore bright colors that almost hurt the eyes and his hair was different every time. Kongpob shook his head, smiling, as he thought about the person who had gelled with his family with ease and that is when he heard the door bang open and loud sprinting steps approaching.
"Sorry sorry! Am I too late? The traffic was horrible..." Wayo panted as he approached the couple. He had come in like the breeze, all dressed in his favorite pink color and Arthit couldn't help but chuckle. Kongpob too grinned. He thought Wayo was looking especially cute with his hair tied up. What? The Alpha was mated, yes, didn't mean he couldn't still appreciate someone's beauty..

"Phii! It's okay. You are just in time I think. Please, have a seat, take a deep breath. Our turn should be soon." Wayo smiled and nodded at Arthit and sat down beside him.
About ten minutes later, it was their turn and the couple went into Dr.K's office. The doctor stood up, smiled and greeted them but then his head snapped to look behind them where Arthit knew Wayo must be. The couple took their seats but Arthit felt his sense go on instant alert as if something he didn't understand was happening there.
Phana was staring at the young Omega and Arthit didn't miss the way the great Dr.K had frozen on the spot. It was barely for a millisecond but Arthit literally felt the Alpha doctor's intense gaze on the cute person they had hired. The pregnant Omega also thought he saw a sharp glint in the doctor's eyes, but it was so fast he couldn't be sure. Maybe there was some truth to what Dr. Pasinkar had been saying.
"Oh, it's you...again.." Dr.K said sneering a little.
Wayo narrowed and then rolled his eyes, "Just my luck that I keep getting your cases.."
"At least you are controlling your foul mouth..there's a baby on the way.." Dr. K said as he settled at his desk once again and started going through Arthit's file.
"You!.." Wayo said angrily and was about to spout much more but Arthit held his hand and shook his head. The pregnant Omega saw Wayo take a few deep breaths and calm down and was relieved.
"So, well, first of all. Congratulations! You are definitely having twins!" All the men's faces brightened up at the news and they grinned at each other. Kongpob put his arm around his Phii and gently half-hugged him.
Once the pleasant moment had passed, Kongpob looked at Dr.K expectantly, "So....?"
"Well, you see one of the babies is still weaker of the two. But that is usually seen in twins, especially at this stage of the pregnancy. We will work on getting both of them up to the mark by the time you are due."
Arthit and Kongpob looked at each other and back at the doctor and nodded. They had surrendered to Dr. K's greater knowledge and they believed that the man in front of them would do everything in his power for them.
"Okay. Everything else seems to be working fine. I have listed some new supplements. Mr. Panitchayasawad, I hope you will be able to follow instructions on N'Arthit's medication and diet..."
Wayo's eyes narrowed at the doctor's snarky tone but he refrained himself from saying anything and just nodded. Arthit felt amused at the interaction between the renowned doctor and Wayo. He realized that although Wayo seemed innocent and sweet, he was rather a feisty one.
"So doctor, umm..what should we expect, I mean..Phii is almost at the end of his first trimester.." Kongpob asked, which brought Arthit back to the room.
"There's nothing much. I mean, mood swings will be on the high, but usually as the fourth month starts it's a pleasant thing. The expecting Omega should get his appetite back, cravings, some weird emotional outbursts...things like that....And since everything seems to be on track..you guys don't need to hold back anymore. As I'm sure N'Arthit will be experiencing ..umm..overwhelming emotions.." Dr.K said but he was surprisingly hesitant and Arthit couldn't help but notice the doctor's eyes dart towards Wayo.
"Horny! He means since N'Arthit will get horny, you guys are free to do..whatever.." Wayo said suddenly, making elaborate hand motions, startling the couple.
"Yeah, what he said.."
Kongpob's jaw dropped and then his lips form a perfect 'O', "Ohhh.."
Arthit couldn't help but snort a chuckle, "Okay, anything else, doctor?"
Dr.K smiled, "Nothing in particular. Take your medication, don't overstress or overwork, stick to the diet but give in to cravings once in a while...and ..call if anything is wrong. If everything is going smoothly, we will meet every four weeks from now, until the eighth month. I think that sums it up."
"Thank you, doctor," Kongpob said as he and Arthit said to leave, gathering the files. Wayo too nodded at the doctor and took the papers detailing medication and diet as the trio headed home with a happy heart.
