Chapter 7: Leaving

It was about fifteen minutes until the plane took off when Luke texted "Umm there's something I probably should've told you..but you will find out later.."

Several thoughts raced through Emma's mind, and she was kind of scared of what it could be. Emma replied with "Um alright..the plane is about to load,so excited to see you baby!❤️"

As Emma was sitting in the waiting room, it was about ten minutes and then they announced loudly: gate 31 loading now. Emma knew that was hers, so she got up into the plane and found a seat next to this creepy old man that kinda looked like Michael Jackson or something scary. As the Plane took off it kind of scared her because it jerked a few times and she hit her head against the seat. But beyond that the ride was pretty fun. The view was amazing, but since it was the first time she rode in a plane without her mom she was obviously pretty nervous.

It was about thirty minutes until the arriving point. Emma knew Luke was gonna be waiting right outside of the plane ready to drive her to his house. She started thinking if it was gonna be like one of them romantic scenes where someone gets out of the plane and runs into their loved ones arms..hm probably not, but that's what she wished for.

Altogether it was about a sixteen hour flight. She fell asleep about 3 times on the plane and her hair was absolutely wrecked and her mascara was smudged a little bit. She needed to redo her hair but her brush and hair ties were in the luggage thing on the plane. It was about 3 minutes until they arrived, she could even see the airport where she was suppose to be landing. Her stomach was dropping and she started to feel light headed, to her this didn't even seem like real life. Just imagine having a long distant relationship for a long time, never seen each other in person, but your about to in 3 minutes! It's a little crazy.

They landed and she stood up and walked out of the plane with a lot of confidence. She had a cute messy bun, she was wearing grey sweatpants, and a cute sporty T-shirt. As she finally stepped out she got her suitcase and looked around nervously for Luke. She didn't see him anywhere. She kind of felt alone and she sat down on the wooden benches that were just outside the huge building. She began to get sad and wondered if he maybe had forgotten about her. Then all of the sudden she felt someone tapping on her back, and a voice being cleared....
