It was a calm Thursday morning for Sword. The kids were sleeping, she cleaned and added drawings to the walls, a calm day.
She sat reading a book when she looked at her phone. 11:30AM. She frowned.
That's weird. All the kids usually get up by 9.
A sudden shock ran through her as she thought that. Wait. It's quiet. Quiet? Here? Now? At this time? With kids like them? That isn't right. Sword put her book down, running upstairs. She could faintly hear voices coming from the kids rooms. She went to the first room that was there.
"Eloise? Vicki? You guys ok-..." She cut herself off when she saw Vicki and Eloise in their beds holding their stomachs and groaning in pain. Sword immediately went to get a thermometer. She checked their temperature.
"103.4?! 101.9?! Oh no, you guys have a fever." She said, placing her hand on their foreheads. Eloise scoffed.
"No kidding!" She said. Sword walked away and went to the other rooms.
"Liz? Julianna? You guys feel sick too?" She asked. The two nodded. Liz pouted.
"I hate this. Being sick makes me feel weak." She said. Sword shook her head playfully.
"Everyone gets sick." She said. Liz turned her head away from Sword, as if she was ignoring what she said. Julianna got up and jumped all over her bed.
"I feel fine!" She said, jumping more. Sword caught her off guard while she jumped, laying her down.
"Lay down. You won't get better if you keep jumping around." She tucked Julianna in. Julianna gave her a weird look.
"What the hell?"
"What?" Sword asked. Julianna stuck her finger out, poking her nose. Sword blinked, weirded out by the sudden touch.
"Why are you being so nice?" Julianna asked. Sword smiled.
"I'm just in a good mood." Liz sat up.
"You live with us and you're in a good mood? That's impossible." She said. Sword shrugged.
"I don't know, I was just in a good mood." She walked out, heading to Diego's room when she was stopped. A blood curdling scream was hear from the bathroom. Sword stopped and then ran to the bathroom. She tried to open the door when she saw it was locked.
"Sword! Sword!" The voice yelled. Sword noticed that they sounded in pain.
"Isa? Isa open the door!" She said, banging on the door. The rest of the kids came out of their rooms.
"What's with the noise? It's giving me a damn headache." Vicki said, covering her ears.
"Get back!" Sword demanded, pushing them back, then kicking the door down. Inside was Isa, who stood in a puddle of vomit and piss. Tears were running down her face while also forming in her eyes.
"I'm...sorry..." She said through her vomit covered lips.
"Ew!" Liz said.
"It smells so bad." Vicki said.
"That looks like my diarrhea after I drink milk." Eloise added.
Isa started bawling. Sword slowly made her way towards Isa. She grabbed Isa's shirt and pulled it over her head, then quickly wrapped a towel around her. She turned around, seeing everyone red as a beet while Diego was drooling. Sword angrily walked back to them.
"Go back in bed. After I clean this up I'll give you guys medicine." They didn't move.
"No one's going back to bed? Well I guess we better go visit the doctors office to check your hearing." The 5 kids immediately ran away.
"Fuck you! I'm not going to those rapists!" Julianna yelled. Sword closed the door.
"Ok Isa, I'm gonna get a bath ready. You clean yourself well while I clean this up." Isa nodded. Sword turned on the water, letting the tub fill up with water. Sword turned away and let Isa undress and get in the tub. She turned back and closed the curtain.
"Tell me when you need something."
"Ok..."
After she cleaned everything up and dried Isa off, she gave all the kids their medicine.
"Angel! I feel so sticky!" Diego yelled. Sword sighed. In the end, she took all the kids a bath, and got sick the next day.
The end!
Stay inside guys! Stay safe.
