Chapter 5

*February 2015 in Ann Arbor, Michigan*

I woke up to the light of the hallway coming in my room. I jumped up, rubbing my eyes as I looked to see who was coming in.

"Relax," a familiar voice laughed, the door closing. As the person turned the lights on, I slipped my glasses on, smiling as the blurry figure came into focus.

"I thought you were in Minnesota," I smiled, tying my hair into a messy bun as the figure came over to my bed.

"Well, I couldn't miss our first Valentine's day," he smirked, grabbing my face and covering me with kisses as I just laughed.

"Bubba, I'm tired," I giggled, pulling away from him. "It's 3 in the morning," I laughed, laying back down and putting my glasses on the table next to my bed.

"I know," Dylan laughed, taking off his sweatshirt. He turned my light off before climbing into my bed. He wrapped his arms around me, holding me close to him. "Ryan," he gulped, rubbing my back, my head on his chest.

"Bubba, what's up?" I mumbled. I could hear his heart racing as I laid there.

"I love you," he gulped. I shot my head up, looking into his eyes.

"What did you just say?" I smiled.

"I love you, Ryan Hayes," he laughed softly as I squealed, grabbing his face and covering him in kisses.

"I love you," I giggled, pushing his hair out of his face. "I love you, Dylan Larkin," I smiled before crashing my lips on his. I pulled back giggling like a child as I put my head back on his chest. He held me tightly, the two of going back and forth saying 'i love you'.
