Chapter 8

Liv and I stood outside Zach's dorm building, waiting for him to come down and scan us in.

"Do you like your outfit?" Liv smiled, turning to me as I nodded, laughing softly.

"I don't hate it," I giggled, looking down at the very ripped jeans and the black crop tank top Liv gave me. She even straightened my hair for me, making me wonder what her motive was. Liv is a very nice person, but she only ever does things like this when there is some sort of end goal for her.

"You look hot, I'm not gonna lie," she smiled, wrapping her arm around me. "You're my best friend, you know that, right?" She gulped as I laughed, nodding my head.

"And you know you're my best friend, right?" I giggled as she nodded, smiling brightly.

"You two done having your moment?" A voice yelled, Liv and I turned to see Zach standing there  holding the door open

"Yes, Zach. You can stop being jealous," Liv giggled, for once not leaving me to go and see Zach, instead, she left her arm around me, walking with me to the door. She gave Zach a quick kiss on the cheek as we passed him.

"Are you two okay?" I laughed, looking at both of them strangely. The two of them returned the confused look.

"What do you mean?" Zach laughed as Liv just stared at me like I was crazy.

"You two seem off," I gulped as they both laughed, shaking their heads.

"You told me you didn't want to see me and my boyfriend all lovey-dovey tonight, so I'm respecting your sad wish," Liv giggled as I laughed softly, nodding my head.

"She's a good friend, but a horrible girl-friend," Zach winked before turning around, leading us up to his room.

"Who's in there? Just you and Niko?" Liv gulped as Zach shrugged.

"You could say that," he smirked. For some reason, it didn't register as strange. That was a normal response for Zach. When we walked in, nobody was in the room except for Niko, which was strange. Usually, the whole floor was in their room! Even when Dylan and Zach roomed together last year there were ALWAYS people in their room. Liv finally let go of me, walking over and laying down on Zach's bed.

"Hey Niko," I smiled, walking over and hugging him tightly.

"How are you doing? You okay?" He gulped, hugging me close to him.

"I mean, yeah," I sighed, stepping back and smiling up at him.

"I'll be right back, I have to brush my teeth," he smirked, patting my head before running out. I laughed softly, shaking my head as I walked over, sitting down on Niko's bed, my feet dangling off.

"Why is everyone acting so weird today?" I laughed, looking at Zach and Liv who were sitting on his bed, holding onto each other for dear life.

"I have no idea what you're talking about," Zach sighed. Suddenly, I felt someone grab my leg making me scream bloody murder. The person laughed loudly, rolling out from under Niko's bed, my jaw dropped as I jumped up, launching myself into the person's arms.

"TRAVIS!" I laughed, hugging him tightly.

"Hi, Ry," he laughed, holding me tightly.

"We couldn't get your boyfriend here so we got you the 2nd best thing," Zach smiled as I looked up at Travis, a big smile on my face.

"How?" I laughed, looking over at Liv and Zach who were smiling back at me.

"He asked if Dyl could make it and when we said no, he offered to come and surprise you," Liv giggled as I laughed, burying my head in his chest as he just laughed, hugging me tightly.

"You know, tonight is our one-year friend-iversary," he laughed as I just stood there, a big cheesy smile on my face.

"You guys are the best," I giggled, closing my eyes as I stood there, enjoying every part of that moment.
