Rapunzel POV
Recap:
When we came in this tavern, my face paled. All around us dirty and buff guys. If I wasn’t so scared i might have looked around a bit because you never see that much muscles. Jer looked really smug until a guy yells “hey you are that guy from the wanted poster. Get him guys.
Suddenly Jer gots grabbed and he hangs in the arms of a lot of guys. OMG what am I going to do. Without Jer I can’t see the lanterns. I look at Bob and he makes the ‘lets kick some ass’ sign at me. So I do the first thing that comes in my mind. I start hitting the men that are in front of me.
BANG guy with mustache and axe on the floor knock out
BANG guy with tattoos on his arm on the floor knock out
BANG ugly dude with large nose on the floor knock out
BANG dude with something breakable in his pocket cus I heard crack when he went down to the ground.
Ok I really need to work on my fitness. Damn this is tiring. Ok little break, crack the back and shoulders and deep breathes. Breathe in and out. In and out.
I still got a lot of men in front of me. This is going to take ages .
Ok different plan.
Deep breath focus Rapunzel 3 2 1 “ PUT HIM DOWN BEFORE I GOT MAD. HE IS MINE …” All of the men except those on the ground stopped with screaming and look at me and then at him. Oh shit that sounded so wrong, they have the wrong idea.Ugh I start blushing. Suddenly I hear movement behind me and hear a rough voice saying: “Who has knocked me down?” Everyone even Jer and Bob are pointing at me. Those traitors. They will die slowly and painfully.
With a scared look on my face I look behind me. Oh God it is the guy with the mustache and axe, couldn’t it be the ugly dude with the large nose, he looks a little bit less intimidating than this one.
“so you think you can just knock people down heh?”
“well if you weren’t so stupid to take my guide (point at Jer) who has to bring me to the laterns because it is my dream, this wouldn’t happen.”
“Well kid I am going to show you a lifetime lesson about this”
“You are gonna hit me now just because I have a dream.”
“Duh” SLAM
“OK let me explain this a bit better to you. Hey you there in the back, you might want to listen it is kinda important.”
I stand on a table and start talking again. “My name is Rapunzel and I am 18 years old.”
I hear a few mumbles like “weird kid” “weirdo” and one guy even says “hello Rapunzel”
“I have been locked in a tower for whole my life.” A few gasps. “6 years ago was the last time I got out, on that day I met a guy, he was cocky and rude and arrogant and he kissed me. He also promised me to find me. Until this day he hasn’t come. So I need Jer to take me to the laterns and to the village close by so that I can find that guy again. So please let him go, I need him to fulfill my dream.”
“Well that was such a touchy story princess. Also now my chin hurts even more. Lets get started yes.” He unsheds his axe and comes closer to me, he raises his arm and swings it at a guy who is standing close to the door.
“My name is Fred. I am mean , scary and I have killed people but that is not my dream. I swear to God if someone laughs at my dream I will kill you. Deep breathes. I want to be a concert pianist.”
“A concert pianist?” I ask with eyebrows raised.
“ Yes”
“Are you good?”
He walks past me. Good job Rapunzel you pissed him off, he will fetch his axe and will kill you. Suddenly I hear the most beautiful piano piece I have ever heard. I think it is Mozart or something. I turn around and damn Fred is sitting at the piano and playing.
He stops with playing. The room is so quiet you can hear a pin drop and then someone begins to clap until everyone minus Jer and Bob is too.
I hear a lot of new voices yelling
“I want romance”
“I want to be a designer”
“I want to be a florist”
“I want to play puppetshows”
“I like to sew and my friend likes to knit.”
“I want to be a baker”
I see a guy in mime costume “let me gues you want to be a mime player” he nods his head.
“Unicorns.”
“Hey Jer what is your dream?”
“Not telling Ginger” suddenly he has 20 swords by his neck
“ok ok I want a island for my own with a lot of money.”
