Terran stood there, awaiting orders. He had just joined the Eastern Knights, a large group of knights that didn't accept new members into it very easily. Terran had had an extremely grueling experience at the academy, having to train to move at quick speeds and to jump incredible heights as well as dodge and parry and block, but he had just barely scratched the tip of the primordial iceberg for all of these things, for he was not knighted just yet, he was but a simple squire, a knight in training.

Squires that had done exceptionally bad during combat training would still graduate but would serve support roles such as being the supplier and carrier of equipment in battles while the rest of the combat-trained soldiers did all the work.

Those with high mental prowess but low physical ability would train to become wizards, as remembering the incantations for spells was no easy task, especially for the best-of-the-best in the wizarding world. There were many types of wizards: time wizards, elemental wizards, combat wizards, celestial wizards, and many others that were special and required much more difficult training in order to become one.

Terran was lucky to have been accepted into the Eastern Knights, even if most of the Eastern Knights were manned by squires and chemists alike. The main general of the Eastern Knights was a great one, turning what would seem to be a disorganized order of untrained knights into an organized platoon that brought havoc wherever they fought.

As was said previously, Terran was awaiting orders from his commander, General Hiyoto. Hiyoto was both a wonderful commander and combatant and was responsible for the past victories of the Eastern Knight squad. He was a man of the church and had trained there all his life, becoming a Knight himself.

The mission that Terran and his 2 other friends were to be briefed on was about stopping a small rebellion at Gardal City. Terran was told that the city had been infested by what seemed to be a group of rebels who had left the main rebellion group, seeking refuge in the city and holding a hostage.

The head commander began to speak. "As you all know, my name is General Hiyoto, commander of the Eastern Knights. Our mission is to shut down a small group of defected rebels in Garland and, if possible, save their hostage. Any questions?"

One of Terran's friends named Goija began to speak. "Is this woman or man of royalty or just another simple commoner?" Hiyoto responded with a rather stern and angry tone, not seeing as how if the hostage was rich or poor would affect how the situation would be handled. "Would you see them fall to the corrupt thieves hiding out if they were poor and only bring them salvation twas the other way around?"

Goija did not speak for several moments, now seeing how his question might've angered Hiyoto as the Commander himself had been a poor man who had worked their way up to become a Knight.

"Not at all... I was just inquiring about the hostage, not trying to make offense to those who possess little coin in their satchels!"

"Good," Hiyoto responded with a more satisfied tone. "I'll have no snobs within my order. You 3 will be responsible for leading the distraction until the Northern Order arrives there to finish what they started."

"Why's the Northern Order coming to clean this mess up if we're already there?" Terran's other friend Balk asked.

"This rebel group was originally larger and was composed of deserters from the main group we are trying to combat: The Death Corp. They were found by a group of patrols. There were originally 10 including 5 knights, but they were swiftly brought down to 3, including 1 knight. Be wary, they may only be 2 squires and a knight, but their determination was enough to bring down 2 of our members because of just that knight alone."
