josh + olivia

chapter three.

OLIVIA POV

we got in our rooms and had to unpack. sofia and i shared a room so we were excited. we all decided to hang out at matt's  after we unpacked and go have dinner. after sofia and i unpacked we met up with dara and julia as we walked down the hallway and just my luck we ran into the boys on the way to the elevator. and to no surprise as soon as we saw them josh and i made eye contact and somehow ended up walking beside each other laughing and smiling. in the elevator we met up with everybody else. they were all watching us out of the corner of their eye staring at each other in our own world when i heard frankie's voice.

"i swear if at some point y'all don't start talking instead of just staring at each other while smiling and blushing i will physically force y'all to be normal and have a conversation" frankie said very loudly.

"oop sis snapped" dara said while bursting out in laughter.

we walked out of the complex and since it wasn't that far we decided to walk. josh and i were basically shoved by the others beside each other on the sidewalk in front of them. 

"hi liv!" josh said with a big smile.

 "gosh he's too perfect" i thought to myself.

     j = josh         o = olivia 

o "hi joshy"

j "so i guess our plan of waiting to talk made them pretty mad huh?"

o " oh yeah, the girls were questioning the whole time we were unpacking"

 we both started laughing and our hands slowly started making their way to each other

before we could say anything else we arrived at the restaurant

while we waited for a table, neither of us realized that we were holding hands but when we did we both looked at each other and smiled.

JOSH POV

when we finally sat down, liv and i sat beside each other. i'm sure the cast had something to do with it but we would have sat beside each other anyway. i reached for my menu when i felt something in my hand. i looked down and liv and i were holding hands. i guess she felt my movement because she looked up at the same time and i did and our eyes met.

"HELLO EARTH TO LOVEBIRDS!! it's time to order" julia practically screamed at us. liv and i both turned red and finally ordered. 

"sorry for ruining y'alls conversation but i'm hungry and y'all were taking FOREVER" julia said  and everyone stared at us.

"no its fine" i said as liv and i both laughed.

dinner was fun we all laughed and had a good time. as we were walking out of the restaurant i felt something grab my hand tightly. i look over and see liv with a scared expression on her face as if she is about to cry.

"hey liv what's wrong?" i asked her as i squeezed her hand.

"um i saw ethan back there as we were leaving and he tried to grab me and kiss me but i pulled away and he started twisting my arm really bad and i was about to grab me when one of his friends walked over but before he left he said "you'll be mine again rodrigo" and now i'm scared and don't know what to do" liv said as she tried her best not to cry. i hated seeing her this way.

"liv listen to me, i promise i will never let him hurt you and he won't get you back because you are way too good for him and you'll find someone who deserves you, someone who will treat you right and love you" i said as i pulled her into a hug and squeezing her hand once more.

"promise?" she asked looking at our hands intertwined and hugged me tighter.

"promise, forever" i replied also enjoying our hands and bodies being this close. she just feels like my safe place and i will always protect her. i love the feeling when she is in  my arms. maybe soon she'll realize i could be the person that she deserves who would love her and treat her right.

we were silent for a few minutes until liv spoke up.

"hey joshy? you know how you said that i would find the person who deserved me and would treat me right and love me?"

"yeah" i said as i rubbed circles on the back of her hand to comfort her.

"i don't know if you feel the same way but i think you're that person for me. i know that we've only known each other for a year and a half but my feelings keep getting stronger for you. and i know we only say we're besties and if you want to stay that way we can but i- i- like you, i like you a whole lot"

im sry ik this is cheesy butttt im having writers block so yeah. if y'all have any suggestion let me know and make sure to come back daily for updates as i will write a chapter  day since we're out of school and the whole quarantine thing is making me CRAZYYYY. i'm also starting a rini oneshot thing tonight so go check that out!! 

and yes i left y'all on a cliffhanger hahaha but i don't feel like sleeping so i'll probably update again
