josh + olivia

chapter eight.

joshua spent the next couple days being very secretive since he was asking the cast for help on his surprise date with olivia. he knew he had to come up with something good so he could ask her to be his girlfriend in a fancier way. of course they were already together but josh loved the idea of actually asking her so he went for this plan. 

it took him about two and a half weeks but it was worth it. olivia on the other hand was not handling this time well. since he had been talking all day on the phone, not spending as much alone time with her, and all around acting different she feared the worst. she didn't want to think he would cheat on her but it was the only thought her brain could comprehend. 

josh walked into set grinning as he saw olivia laughing with sofia and julia. he had been so busy with planning his perfect date that he had yet to realize how different olivia had been acting. she didn't mean to act unhappy but the thought of losing josh wasn't exactly one that would make her smile.

he immediately went to pull her into him. she relaxed into his touch as she held her conversation with the girls. they were talking about how hot some guy from criminal minds is or something like that but he wasn't paying much attention. all he could notice was how liv's body was slightly shaking and her rubbing her fingers together in her lap. when the conversation had ended he pulled olivia into his trailer and wrapped her in a hug.

"hi" he said as he kissed her forehead

"hi" she mumbled into his chest. she was exhausted since sleep doesn't happen often for her. she was up for hours worrying that he had found someone better or someone he loved more. she couldn't help the thoughts from flowing into her brain. she had been thinking too long when josh pulled away and looked her in the eyes

"livi, what's wrong?" he asked. she muttered a quick 'nothing' and tried to dig herself back into josh's chest but he stopped her

"liv" she looked up at him as her eyes started to water. she didn't want to tell him what was going through her head. josh sighed before pulling her back into him and cradling her head in his hand.

"i know you're worried, but we're okay. i promise you we're okay." he reassured her as she let out a breath she didn't know she was holding in.

that day olivia spent as much time by josh's side as possible when they weren't filming. she was glad he wasn't on his phone as much as he had been these past days so she got his full attention and care. they were finally done filming for the day and olivia was ready to head home. josh had to go to his trailer to change and told her she needed to do the same. she didn't want to leave his side but the outfit for nini today was a bit uncomfortable so she gave in. she got done changing and was fixing her hair when she got a text from josh

slight change of plans, make sure to wear something nice!

olivia

ok. what for?

joshy

can't tell you. it's a surprise!

olivia

ughhhh fine

joshy

i'll be outside your trailer in ten minutes!

olivia

can't wait :)

olivia smiled down at her phone. surprises weren't her favorite thing but as long as josh would be there she knew she could do it. she changed into a black long sleeved crop top showing a little chest paired with light jeans and a simple white belt (inspired by charli d'amelio's outfit in some hollywood fix videos aka being asked about chase hudson,nessa barrett, and the recent one about dixie just to give you a picture of what it looks like.) her hair was already straightened so she didn't do much to her hair besides quickly running a brush through it. 

as expected after ten minutes had gone by josh was knocking on her trailer door. she opened it to let him enter and closed the door behind him. his eyes looked her up and down as she felt her face getting warm. 

"wow liv. you look amazing" he said as he pulled her into his chest, pressing a kiss to her hair as she let out a giggle.

they soon arrived at the restaurant and headed in for their reservation. as the waiter lead them to the table, liv felt her stomach flip from nerves out of nowhere. she quickly reached for josh's hand to help calm herself. after they got seated and ordered, the food came out pretty quickly. their conversation consisted of anything and everything. small things like favorite colors, to bigger things such as future goals. the two teens were so in love that no matter what they talked about they never got tired of talking to one another. once they finished josh paid and they soon after exited.

"i'm kinda upset it's already so late. i don't want this night to end" olivia quietly admitted as they were headed back to the apartments.

"well, lucky for you, it may not be over yet" josh grinned as he pulled off the usual route home.

"josh! where are you taking me?" he simply smirked in response. "you'll see!"

oml i'm so sorry i haven't been updating but now i'm finally back and will actually be active lmao. also i read all the comments on my last question and i've decided to continue this one and write a new one. i'll be publishing that one soon but for right now this one is my top priority!!
