Xiao Ke had said he wanted to try. That hadn’t been an empty declaration.

When he had been young and arrogant, he had wooed people before. Xiao Ke had originally been someone who liked playing around, but when he got serious and started pursuing people, he was hard to say no to. After all, his looks were above average and he had a good figure too. He had attracted a lot of attention during his years as a student.

In more recent times, he truly had settled down and stopped being so extravagant. But this didn’t mean that this person wouldn’t be attracted to anyone anymore. That was impossible.

All things were like this. As long as an idea sprouted in the mind, it would immediately start growing at a rapid pace. Xiao Ke went home and kept thinking about Zhou Zui; the more he thought about him, the more interested he became. Thus, there was no need to hold himself back.

Xiao Ke promptly called Zhou Zui. The person who answered was still the bald Lu Xiaobei. Xiao Ke said, “Looking for Zhou Zui. I’m Xiao Ke.”

On the other end, Lu Xiaobei yelled, “Big bro! Xiao Ke’s looking for you!”

A while later, Zhou Zui answered. Xiao Ke asked him, “This isn’t your personal phone number, right?”

Zhou Zui said, “Un, it’s a work number.”

Xiao Ke wasn’t caught up on this fact. He got straight to the point, “When are you treating me to drinks?”

Zhou Zui said, “Any time. You choose.”

Thus, Xiao Ke replied, “Then Friday.”

Zhou Zui laughed and agreed. “Okay.”

Xiao Ke had purposefully scheduled their meeting for the weekend. This was so he wouldn’t have to go to work the next day, meaning it would be okay to stay up a while longer. That day, Xiao Ke dressed up really coquettishly again. He wore whatever made him look good, and also styled his hair.

They arranged to go to Su Pond once more. Xiao Ke only came here to drink; it was a habit. He didn’t drive and neither did Zhou Zui. When Zhou Zui arrived, Xiao Ke had already been chatting at the bar with Old Su for a while. Xiao Ke waved at him and called out, “Here!”

Old Su asked him from the side, “You two got together?”

Xiao Ke smiled and said, “Not yet. I want to pursue him.”

Old Su teased him, “Have you switched types, little brother?”

Xiao Ke didn’t respond. He only maintained his smile.

Zhou Zui came, so Old Su naturally left to make space for him. He was scared that otherwise, they would feel unnatural. Xiao Ke asked Zhou Zui, “Do you come here often?”

Zhou Zui said, “Occasionally.”

Xiao Ke could say anything with some liquid confidence. After finishing his drink, he directly asked Zhou Zui, “Most of the people who come here are gay. You are too, right?”

Zhou Zui didn’t say no. He clinked his glass lightly against Xiao Ke’s.

Xiao Ke was really handsome when he smiled. He looked at Zhou Zui and said, "I am too."  Zhou Zui nodded. "I could tell."  Zhou Zui put a cigarette between his lips and lowered his gaze. From Xiao Ke's perspective, he looked extremely alluring. The lighter was on the bar counter. Xiao Ke grabbed it before Zhou Zui could. He held it in his hand, then lifted his arm close to Zhou Zui's cigarette and lit it.
