Actually, Xiao Ke had been a bit impulsive when speaking. The novelty hadn't worn off yet, so he would oftentimes think of the man who had sat across from him and drank with him that day. Coincidentally Fang Qimiao brought up tattooing, so he blurted it out.

But he was still a little nervous when it was time to contact him. After all, he didn't really know the other well at all. They had only sat together for a few hours. Maybe the other had already forgotten who he was.

"Finally getting somewhere, my Lord Xiao." Fang Qimiao was antsy. He urged Xiao Ke to make a call and schedule an appointment.

Xiao Ke pulled out the business card from the pocket of his leather jacket. When Fang Qimiao saw it, he suddenly laughed. "I asked this shop already. They were the first ones I asked. Little Tao had his tattoo done there too. I decided to get one because I thought his was cool."

Xiao Ke lifted his gaze to glance at him. "He got it done on his butt too?"

"No, fuck. Would I be fucking able to see it if he got it tattooed on his butt?" Fang Qimiao pulled at his own collar and pointed. "He got it done here, on his collarbone."

"What did they answer when you asked?" Xiao Ke inquired.

Fang Qimiao scoffed. "They were the ones booked out for the longest, immediately telling me the next availability was three months later. I'm just trying to get a tattoo the size of my fucking palm, and they told me to wait three months. Who are they kidding?"

Xiao Ke ignored him, because he had already dialed the number. The phone was ringing.

A while later, someone picked up. The person asked, "Who is it?"

Xiao Ke didn't get to use the greeting he had planned on, because the voice on the phone sounded too young. The voice he had heard that night wasn't like this. The person on the other end didn't hear him say anything, so impatiently asked again, "Who is it?"

"Is this not Zhou Zui's phone?" Xiao Ke glanced at his screen and matched the number on it to the one on the card. He hadn't inputted it wrong.

The other said, "It is. Are you looking for him? He's working now. If you need something, tell me. I'll tell him for you."

Xiao Ke truly felt awkward now. He and Zhou Zui's relationship allowed for them to directly call each other, but it would be weird with a person passing messages along in the middle. He was just about to say nevermind, when the other rushed him, "Hurry up, bro. Chop chop, I'm busy too. Do you want a tattoo? Or is it for personal business? If it's about a tattoo, we......"

Someone seemed to interrupt him. Xiao Ke heard him say, "Ey I don't know. Unsaved number."

"So do you want a tattoo?" He asked again.

Xiao Ke went un.

"For a tattoo, big bro!" He shouted on the other end of the phone. Then he told Xiao Ke, "If you want a tattoo but don't want to come into the shop, just add us on WeChat. Or do you know our big boss? Do you know Zhou Zui?"

The person speaking probably wasn't very old. He sounded to be about a little over twenty. Xiao Ke let him run his mouth like a machine gun and weirdly felt like laughing. Fang Qimiao was laughing by his side too. Xiao Ke said, "Technically."

"If you do, you do. If you don't, you don't. What the hell do you mean by 'technically'?" The young man on the other end really could use his words, and fast, too. "If you know my big bro and have his WeChat, just contact him directly. If you don't have it, I'll send a WeChat to this number later on. If you want to schedule an appointment, add me. But after adding I'll only talk about tattoos. No chit-chat."
