This is the first time I've participated in the Open Novella Contest and I don't think I've ever written a book so fast.
Thank you to anyone who has read this. In particular, thank you so much to:
All of your comments and your help to make this book better absolutely made my day and urged me to complete this novella in record-time (for me lol).
Their own ONC entries are absolutely amazing and totally worth the read, so go check them out!
The prompt I used for the contest was, "You find yourself bouncing around in time when one day you're in the 1950s and the next in the 1990s. The only constant thing is a stranger you see in every era."
But it was also inspired by this: "Why think separately of this life and the next, when one is born from the last? Time is always too short for those who need it, but for those who love, it lasts forever." -Rumi
It was mostly a stroke of luck that I happened to hear that poem just a few days before the ONC opened up and from those two things, I was hit by a little inspiration.
I hope you enjoyed reading Abby and Daniel's story(ies) even half as much as I enjoyed writing it!
