-Michael-
We stayed like that for a while and I almost forgot the reason he even came into my room in the first place.
But then the doorbell rang and Luke pulled away, my pleasurable warmth, shattered. Now all I felt was unbearably cold and scared. So, so scared.
He stared at me with wide eyes, looking as terrified as I felt. I took a shaky breath and stood up, careful to avoid eye contact with Luke.
I dont know why we did what we just did, but I dont regret any of it; not even for a single hesitant moment.
Luke followed my lead and stood up, a blush evident on his face.
"Come on." He mumbled, reaching for my hand, but seeming to think better of it, and playing it off like he was wiping dust off his jeans.
But I noticed and god, my emotions were a mess. If he would have grabbed my hand, would I have allowed it? What were we?
I shook my head, no, it was just some stupid little pity kiss. He just feels bad about me freaking out.
I followed Luke down the stairs and to the door, neither of us speaking.
"Here goes nothing." Luke mumbled loud enough for me to hear and opened the door.
"LUUUUUKKKEEEYYYY!" 2 loud voices screeched, throwing themselves at Luke and playfully kissing all over his face and ruffling his hair.
"GUYS STOOOP." Luke screeched, trying to wiggle out from under them, laughing the whole time.
I let out a small smile, they seemed nice enough.
Eventually they stopped and turned their attention on me, eyes filled with curiosity.
"Whos this, Luke?" the one on the left said, giving me a small smile.
"Th-This is Michael, hes staying here for a while." Luke stuttered, mumbling the whole thing and turning a bright red, scratching the back of his neck.
I rose an eyebrow at him.
What was that about?
"Hi Michael, im Calum!" The one the left said, shaking my hand. I hesitantly shook back and stared at him.
He had nice brunette hair that had this soft look to it, like your fingertips would glide through it if you put your hand in it. It also contained some blonde streaks. His eyes were a dull brown, but he had a straight teeth and they were pearly white. He didnt look at all like someone who'd be super snobby, he seemed nice enough.
"Hi, Im Ashton!" The other one said, pushing Calum slightly to the side and shaking my hand energetically.
I smiled and shook his hand a little more firmly than I did with Calums, because he just had this way about him.
His tousled curly hair was all over the place, and it wouldve been in his face if it wasnt for the bandana that held his hair back. He had a toothy grin and his hands felt rough and calloused when he shook mine. His eyes were a nice green and he seemed to blink a little more than a usual human being.
I liked them both.
"What did you get me?" Luke said, breaking the meeting and peeking at the bags Calum held that were letting off a strong smell of food.
"Lemon chicken, what else, you predictable boy?" Calum said, walking into the kitchen and pulling things out of the bags. He threw me an apologetic glance, "We didnt know about you so we didnt get you anything, you can split my soup with me though, its huge!" He said, and I thanked him for his generosity.
"What do you wanna do, Lukey?" Ashton said through a mouth stuffed with food. Luke grimanced and grabbed a napkin, walking over to Ashton.
"I dont feel well, so lets just watch some movies, play some video games and chill." He said, wiping Ashtons mouth for him like a child.
We all agreed and grabbed the food, heading over to Lukes living room. I cant remember ever being in here, so I stared at it in awe.
The walls were painted a soft brown color and 2 red couches were perched in the middle of the room, looking extremely soft. A giant flat screen was mounted on the wall and a glare was casting off it since the sun was setting and it lit the room with a nice glow.
Snapping out of it I followed the boys into the middle of the room and sat on one of the couches. Luke sat next to me and Calum and Ashton sat on the other couch, since they werent very big.
"So what do we watch?" Luke asked, turning to look at each of us.
"How about The Breakfast Club?"
Calum suggested.
"Laammmmeee" Ashton interrupted, "Lets watch Over The Hedge! Its hilarious." Ashton insisted.
"Luke and Michael will be the tie breakers."
Calum decided. "So which movie?"
"Over The Hedge." Luke decided, nodding.
"You, Michael?" Calum asked turning to me.
I shrugged, "I havent seen either, and if I did, I dont remember. Over The Hedge I guess."
Ashton turned his head to the side, "How would you not remember if you watched them?" He asked curiously.
My eyes widened, "Uh-Uh-I"
"Not everyone has a good memory like you Ash." Luke interrupted, rolling his eyes and I mentally thanked him for not having to admit to them that I have amnesia.
He shrugged and put in the movie.
Turns out Over the Hedge is a dorky movie about talking animals and I found it stupid. The way they did things the hard way instead of the logical way made me frustrated and I found myself drifting off to sleep.
Leaning onto whatever was on my right and I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
But not before I felt a soft kiss pressed to my forhead.
