It was a long trip according to what Jaebum had been informed of and relayed to San and the other three. It's not that San didn't want to be able to chill on the train, but it's also with how he'll be stuck on the train with Yeosang specifically. The past few days since they met and had to spar for Yeosang's test, Yeosang had opted to always pitch in insults towards San and pick fights with him. San was always annoyed, but ignored him the best he could. Yeosang was nothing but a person he had to work with that was what was imprinted in his mind at this point. They wouldn't be friends, they wouldn't be anything more than just strangers working with one another. Mingi became a friend though, the younger boy bright and always acted like a puppy even though he was 6 ft tall and had a huge size difference compared to San. It was weird for the passengers on the train to see this 6 foot puppy clinging to someone much smaller than him, however San didn't mind. It felt comforting because Jaebum wasn't much for physical affection, only a random pat on the head - even then that was rare. Hyunjin was always a huge cuddly person so Mingi being cuddly was familiar and welcomed. Hongjoong was like an older brother already if he was being honest, the other always looking out for the three whenever Jaebum wasn't near. He was the one who always broke up the arguments Yeosang would drag San into.

San was currently sitting near the window on the train, eyes trained on the passing landscape as he frowned to himself. He's seen this surrounding too many times in his life and it was just a blur as the daylight lowered into a dark, foggy night. He looked off from the window, eyes training onto Mingi who was cuddled up against Hongjoong, Yeosang currently reading the newspaper that was passed out, something catching his eyes. San reached out without warning, snatching the newspaper from Yeosang and quickly read over what it was reading, ignoring Yeosang's complaints,

"Professor, professor look!"

San quickly said, shoving the newspaper at the older man whenever he walked up with his coffee. Jaebum startled a bit before looking at what San was pointing at and read it over out loud,

"Open investigation over unknown creatures lurking about Gyeongsan. One even attacking a normal citizen... That's where we're going? Why would they post about this? They should know to keep stuff like this secret!"

Jaebum snapped out, San sighing as he shrugged before frowning,

"But look at the picture, Professor... Look at the dude behind the creature. Who does he remind you of?"

Jaebum looked closely at the photo that was printed on the photo, glancing behind the vampire in the photo. Looking more closely, the boy in the background had blonde hair parted to show some of his forehead and had a sharp looking jawline. He was wearing a suit and was heading towards whatever building was hidden on the side. Jaebum felt his breath hitch in his throat, eyes widening,

"That's... That's the missing kid.. The one who went missing like Hyunjin.."

San nodded sharply. If that kid was alive, maybe Hyunjin was too. San had a bit of relief flooding him but he knew he couldn't hope until he actually sees him. San bit on his bottom lip before feeling the train jerk and suddenly they were coming to a halt after a moment. San sniffed the air, the faintest scent of vampire lurking in the still wind,

"Vampires."

.........

San was in a room with Yeosang, waiting for the scent to get stronger. Why he was stuck with Yeosang? Jaebum claimed that despite the two despising each other, they were one of the strongest - if not THE strongest duo out of them five. Yeosang had more of a long range and San more close hand. If San could fully trust Yeosang then they'd probably be hard to be defeated. Footsteps sounded just outside the room and San gripped his staff tightly as the footsteps stopped and a shadow of feet was formed at the crack of the door. San looked at Yeosang who already had his gun readied, San looking at the door where the doorknob twisted. When the door opened, San took one sniff and he was lunging towards the vampire, staff knocking into the vampires long claws, the vampire snarling loudly. San felt the vampire jerk, a loud gunshot ringing in his ears. San just grinned as he pushed the vampire back, swinging his staff as the blade nearly cut into the vampires throat if he felt something hitting him from the side. San felt a burst of pain in his shoulder, hissing loudly as he turned his head to see a knife and grabbed it, yanking it out. Blood was already coating his shoulder and clothes, dripping down his arm as he hissed in pain,
