Given it, no one expected anyone to not feel awkward and tense with each other. The only two that even seemed to be getting along was Hyunjin and San and we all know why that was the case. The two brothers were found in the backyard, play fighting as Hyunjin was stuck in a headlock by San who was ruffling his hair. Jaebum was standing at the back door, watching calmly as Hyunjin jabbed San in his ribs and immediately ran when San started to playfully growl and chase him. It felt peaceful with them being able to play around like they were kids again. It made Jaebum feel happy that they were finally able to see each other and not having to be a part. Jaebum knew Hyunjin was the actual last bit of family San had, considering Junyoung hadn't been in his life since forever. Junyoung approached, stopping beside Jaebum,

"Hyunjin seems much happier ever since we arrived here and had a talk with San."

Jaebum gave a hum of acknowledgement before they fell silent, the only noises being the two brothers playful bickering and the sound of them running around. The cars in the background occasionally would pass by the place but otherwise, it was only the two causing noises. Jaebum studied San and how relaxed he was and how happy he looked for once. The last time he saw him like this was when he took him and Hyunjin out to that one market. Jaebum swallowed heavily, forcing the guilt to go down as he spoke softly,

"San too... He seems more relaxed too."

Junyoung quirked a smile as he turned to Jaebum and tilted his head,

"You really care for the boy don't you?"

"I do. I'm trying my best to be the one to raise him correctly and to give him a chance to do what he wishes."

Jaebum commented lightly, lips turning down into a frown. Junyoung seemed to sense the mood change and looked towards San and Hyunjin, the two now just sitting on the ground as San showed Hyunjin his weapon. The two stood there in silence, watching the two boys chatter happily, San explaining why he chose a staff and everything. Junyoung sighed gently, looking back at Jaebum,

"San does not hate you for the past."

"I still feel like he should."

Jaebum replied with ease, Junyoung clicking his tongue and shook his head lightly,

"Feel what you feel. The boy would rather you to stop clinging onto the past. What you can do best is help him in the future... He'll need it."

The two looked at the two boys, each with different yet same blood.

........

"Wha- No! Hell no, you think im gonna let you take the last piece of pie like that?!"

Mingi complained as Hongjoong had the last piece of pie on his plate. Hongjoong snickered, commenting about how he was too slow, Mingi pouting. The others watched with amused looks as Mingi tried to complain more until he blushed when someone leaned over him. Yunho placed his plate on top of Mingi's, a full piece of pie on there,

"Here, have mine~ I don't really like apple pie so it's no problem."

Mingi felt shy all of the sudden again, stuttering as he thanked Yunho. Yunho pulled away with a small smile and they soon were all sitting at the table. San was beside Hyunjin, the crew waiting for Jaebum and Junyoung to join them. Everyone fell silent, tension lingering in the air as they awkwardly looked at one another. San noted one staring at him more than the others, San turning his gaze to the blonde head. He believed this one was Wooyoung if he remembers correctly. San recognized him as the one who was watching them whenever they were walking through town. He tilted his head whenever the other seemed to get flustered and look away quickly as he heard Junyoung and Jaebum walk into the room. It's not that San was annoyed with the vampire staring, he just hated it when the other would seem to get flustered and look away. Like..? What? Is there something on his face? Jaebum speaking caused him to look over,
