We choose to move one person at a time so we can get everyone safely to their rooms.

We pick Caleb up from the ground first since his room is the closest upstairs and he mumbles in his sleep, bringing his thumb to his mouth to suck on it while Joey clings to Caleb's arm in his sleep.

I shake my head and Lucas chuckles. They're cuddly drunk I suppose.

I untangled my brother and best friend from one another, humorously. I can just imagine how we're going to embarrass them tomorrow. Maybe I'll be able to drive his car again. He may tell me to stop my countless teasing and I'll use the car as my end of the bargain.

Smart one, Alex.

"I know." I say to myself, a little too loud perhaps.

"Talking to yourself, Alex?" Lucas questions me, tilting his head after securing Caleb's arm around his neck.

I widen my eyes. I didn't think I was going to be heard.

"She always talks to herself. Don't worry, we know she's crazy, you just tend to brush it off." Lacey cuts in.

"Hey! I'm not crazy, I just like to self motivate myself. A little confidence doesn't hurt anybody!" I defend, pouting as I lift Caleb's other arm over my shoulders.

"Yeah, yeah." Lacy replies already bored, collecting Caleb's shoe from Joey that somehow fell off onto the ground and somehow also became a teddy bear. "I swear, these two won't hear the end of it tomorrow"

"Exactly what I was thinking!" I say a little too loud.

Caleb groans in response and tries to push me away, albeit still asleep.

"Ew he's touching me." I whisper, laughing a little to myself as I hear Lucas chuckle.

I peel Caleb's hand from my face, and begin walking with Lucas and Lacy to the front porch of my house.

"Actually it might be a good idea if I stay back to make sure Joey doesn't choke on his tongue." Lacy interjected turning around as we're already struggling to open the door.

I shake my head and turn a bit to open the door wider to allow the three of us in. We struggle inside and then up the stairs somehow. We make it to Caleb's room in a few, long, agonizing minutes, dropping him on his bed in relief. Caleb immediately clings to his sheets and rolls over, his face deep in his pillow.

"One down, one more to go." I smile, laughing quietly to myself.

"Hopefully Joey will be slightly easier but if he's anything like Caleb, maybe not." Lucas mumbles, leading the way back to the front door. It's sort of sweet how he still knows the lay out of the house.

Laughing, we leave the house as Lacey runs by us, yelling that she is going to look after Caleb. Scowls embed our expressions immediately, realizing that she left us on our own.

She left the work on us again, the butt-hole. She'll get an ear load of it later for sure. Maybe I will behead her instead!

"Of course." Lucas shakes his head, then wonders over to Joey. He lifts one of his arms over his shoulder and I catch up and do the same but with his opposite arm, like we did with Caleb. Thankfully Joey hasn't stuck his hands in my face, so I guess he really is going to be slightly less painful to get upstairs.

We eventually get Joey up the stairs and dump him in the spare room, but he wakes up as soon as his face comes into contact with the bed.

"Ow..." He winces, rubbing his face as he yawns. He brings a hand up to rub his face and laughs at it. "My hands look funny."
