Solution to the cutting

Calum's pov

When we get to the hotel jess headed strait to her bed. Times like these are when I think she should be the oldest. One by one she took each of us. Michael almost cried when he got out but he said in a good way. next came in luke, then me! I walked in the room really nervous. I was shaking!

Jess: Calum I'm not here to yell at you I'm here to get this all settled! Now sit.

Jess patted the bed next to her. I sat down and hugged her.

Jess: Calum... What happened with michael?

I don't know why but this really made me emotional. images of the cuts and blood streaming down his arm flashed before my eyes. next thing you know I'm crying. Jess hugs me. I never though that a 13 year old would be like a mother to me. it's kinda good she is here!

Jess: shhhh.... Calum if you don't want to talk now it's fine.

"No! I need to get it out! He is just tired of his life and all the bad things that happen to him. he has been doing this once every month for the past 4 months but it looks like longer. I flushed the blade and-"

I start choking on my words.

Jess: and what Calum?

"I love him as an older brother and I don't want anything to happen to him."

I dive my head into the pillow and let all my tears come out. jess leaves me alone for a while then comes back in.

Jess: michael? Go on.

I here the door shut then a hand on my back.

Michael: Calum? I think we need to talk a bit. let me start off with... im sorry. I'll never do this again.

I pull my head up and look at michael. jess pats him on the back then leaves the room.

Michael: depression got the best of me. I'll never let it happen again. I just need you to forgive me for my terrible mistake.

He opens his arms up. I slowly go in and he grabs me and hugs me. he lets go and puts his hands on my shoulders and looks me in the eyes.

Michael: are we better? Are do I need to think of another speech to give you?

I think for a second.

"We're ok."

We both get up and walk out the door.

Jess: is everyone ok now?

Ashton: I think so.

Jess: good! Ok I'm going to bed. bug tonight Calum and Michael sleep in the room with me because we all have lots of making up to do.
