Chapter 3

"We'll give our blessings for you two. Marry each other."

"WHAT?"
Both Taehyung and Jungkook said simultaneously at the same time.

Taehyung's pillar of imaginations felt like they just had an earthquake. That was not even in the list of what he thought the outcome would be.

"What? If you two love each other so much, what's there to wait for? Shouldn't you be happy that we accepted your relationship?"

Taehyung mentally banged his forehead to the wall. What's actually going on?
"Mom... Dad... We're still young for marriage. It's not even been that long since we started dating."

"Taehyung. What are you saying? Don't you care about your boyfriend's feelings? Look, he's not saying anything. Only you are the one objecting this. How can you reject in front of him? You might hurt him... you know."

Taehyung glared at Jungkook and signed him to say something.

"Mom... Dad... It's fine. He's just nervous I guess. We'll talk about this later nicely. Don't worry."
Jungkook smiled politely.
"Well... Can I use the washroom please?"

Taehyung's mother told Taehyung to show Jungkook the way so Taehyung got up and lead the way for Jungkook. Taehyung was staring at Jungkook while they were walking upstairs. He would be lying if he say Jungkook wasn't handsome. But gosh... how can this person be so different in front of his parents and him? Was he a pro actor or something? If he had to say, he wasn't that much unlucky to chose someone who can act so nicely. His parents didn't seem to doubt him.

"Am I that handsome that you can't keep your eyes off from me?"

Taehyung flinched when he came to his sense. He couldn't believe he was literally staring at the other for the whole time... and the worst is... he was caught.
"You're so full of yourself huh?"
He rolled his eyes and started walking forward.

"Well... I do need to have self confidence you know. And I know I'm quite handome so if you keep staring at me like that, I may of course get a wrong idea."
Jungkook just smirked as he followed Taehyung.

"I don't want to listen you talking about your self proclaimed handsome face. Here's the washroom."
Taehyung said and turned back as they stood in front of the washroom of one of their guess room.

"I don't want to use washroom actually. It was just an excuse to escape from your parents for some time."
Jungkook crossed his arms as he rested his back on the wall.
"Listen. We agreed to act only as your boyfriend, not your husband ok? I don't want to marry you."

Taehyung scoffed and rolled his eyes.
"Do you think I want to marry you?"

"So what are we going to do? I just did what you told me to do. So now tell me how am I going to escape from them?"

Taehyung just scouted down with his hand on his head. He himself didn't have any idea what to do next. He never thought it would turn out like that.
"I don't know. I just... I just want to disappear right now. I thought I would live in freedom and enjoy my life if I escape from this marriage thing. I thought I would be able to travel everywhere I like, do whatever I want. But guess my fate doesn't like my plan. And I even dragged you into this. I'm... I'm sorry."
He buried his face under his palms.
But then, he felt two strong arms wrapped around him. He never expected Jungkook would actually give him a hug and those soft and gentle pats on his back was surprisingly comforting.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Yeah"
Taehyung raised his head as he freed himself from those arms and yeah, he did felt something... like... emptiness? but he just shrugged them off.
