~Chapter 15~

(WELP hate me already)

Nightmare POV
I quickly rushed around my room, I got ready quickly.
I glanced into the mirror for a bit...FOR FUCK SAKES I LOOK LIKE A FUCKING CLOWN!
I sat on my bed and covered my face into my hands.

"Nightmare ya goin to prom or..." Dream stop his sentence, the moment he stepped into my room.
"...need some help buddy?" Dream snickered, I growled but slightly nodded.
Dream went through my closet, and threw me a new pair of clothing.
"Better be thankful I have a way with style" Dream said.
"Shut up you look like a deformed baby" I snapped.
Dream laughed as he lefted my room.

I quickly changed into the new clothes, and I was surprised...
I did look a bit nicer, but something was missing...
I grabbed a bowtie and tied it gently around the collar of my shirt.
I walked out of my room, and walked downstairs.

"Aw.....Nightmare you look stunning.." My mother said.
I rolled my eyes and looked away, Dream was also dressed nice...
Maybe too nice...because he wore a white vest, with a gold like bowtie.
His pants where black, with two pairs of shiny dressing shoes.

I wore a black vest, with a violet bowtie. My pants where also black but my dressing shoes, where not as shiny as Dream's shoes.
"You two have a wonderful time at Prom!" My mother said.
Me and Dream walked out the door and started walking to school.

Once we reached the school's front doors, we saw students dress in dresses and nice clothing.
I saw almost everyone there...except for Ink....

The front door of the school opened and students walked into the school.
The gym was now filled with students, loud music was playing.
As all the girls and boys danced, but for me...I just sat on the bleachers.

A few minutes later students stopped dancing.
Soon I realized why...I saw Ink...but Ink was wearing a dress...
Now my vision was messin with me.
I know Ink was a Boy but...seeing Ink in a dress made think twice..

Ink stood alone near the wall, soon the other students began to dance again.
I gulped the lump in my throat and stood up, I slowly made my way to Ink.

Ink POV
Apparently...Cross told me his mother had to take him out of town because of a business trip.
But...now...I was alone in prom..
I was planning to wear my suit but...half of my clothes where still at my old home.
Because we still needed to move furniture to our new home..

I should have stayed home....This is embarrassing....
"Hey Ink..." I saw Nightmare...Maybe I'm not gonna be alone at prom after all...
"H-hey Nightmare" I said, Nightmare smiled.

"So...where were ya? I was waiting for you.." he said, I smiled weakly and even looked away.
"I was...getting ready..." I said.
I fiddled with my hands a bit, then Nightmare grabbed my hand.
"Where are we goin...?" I asked, he said nothing.

We walked out of the gym and we walked to the front doors of the school.
"Let's forget about prom" he said, I blushed as he looked at me.
"But...then...what are we gonna do with the rest of the night..and isn't Dream here? He might look-" then I felt Nightmare slowly pulled me into a gentle kiss...

Nightmare slowly pulled away and looked at me, he chuckled as I dazed a little.
"You look like a girl in that dress" he snickered, I pushed away from him.
I flustered and looked away.

"How bout we go to the back of the school?" Nightmare asked.
"Why....?" I asked, Nightmare shrugged and grabbed my hand.
"You'll see why" he said, I followed him to the back of the school.
The back of the school was dark of the shadows of the trees...but little gaps of light shined through the trees leaves.

The light was coming from the full moon above. Nightmare pulled me close to him.
I looked around and then I saw Nightmare sat down on the grass below. He stared at the moon then he gestured to me sit down with him.
I gently sat a inch away from him, and we both stared at the moon.

"Ya know Ink..." Nightmare said, I looked at him in confusion.
"I really like you...but I'm sure you probably hate me...after what I've done to you...I just can't forgive myself.." Nightmare then covered his face in his hands.

I looked away but then gently scooted closer to him.
"Nightmare...Just to make this clear...I don't really like you.."
