*BEEP BEEP BEEP*

My eyes shoot open at the sound of my alarm. I groggily rub my tired eyes awake. I reach over to turn the alarm off when it registers in my brain.
Wait, I don't have an alarm clock in my containment cube.
Never in my whole life have I jumped out of bed so fast. At the foot of my bed sat Daisy holding a ringing alarm clock in her hands. I let out a sigh of relief.

"Rise and shine, sleepyhead!" Daisy laughs, amused. "Today's a big day. I have something special for you."

I furrow my eyebrows, skeptical at Daisy's statement. While I love her, Daisy's idea of "something special" could be almost anything, and usually not the most pleasant. I remember being blocked by a giant cake just sitting in the hallway, and the next thing you know Daisy is popping out of it and scaring the living daylights out of you.

"Don't you make that face, Iris. This time it's not bad. Don't you trust me?"

"No, not in the least, but I guess I'll just have to go along with you." I respond, half joking but still pretty worried.

She justs grins and pulls out a blindfold. I suddenly decide that maybe this isn't a good idea, and start to protest. Daisy somehow manages to wrangle me and tie the blindfold around my head.

She guides me through many different twist and turns, babbling about random things all the way. She stops and I crash into her.

"Ow," I mutter, but I don't really think she's listening.
"Are you ready?" Daisy asks, her voice full of excitement.
"I guess......"

The blindfold gets taken off and I gasp. In front of me is one of the most amazing rooms I have ever seen, adorned with purple curtains and little paper flowers  hanging from the ceiling. The bedspread was lilac and next to it was a vase of yellow flowers resting on a chestnut bedside table. I was awed by its beautiful simplicity.

"Do you like it?" Daisy asks.

I don't trust my self to speak. All I can really do is nod.

"Well, it's yours. It's about time we get you out of that containment cube."
