Anju followed Tatl and I as we headed for the clock tower. Just as we were coming up to the big door that led inside, I heard a big boom in the sky and looked up to see fireworks. They were pretty, but I was confused at why they were set off if there was no one here to see them. I shook it off though, and found the place where we could enter the roof of the tower. A small platform allowed us to lift ourselves up to the door, and I helped Anju up after I pushed up myself.
We ran up the stairs to the roof. Link and Kafei were arguing with something above them. I looked up, and my fear came back that was from my nightmare last night. The sight of Majora's Mask brought back every memory of my curse, which made my chest throb with pain.
"Look what you've done to this place!" Link yelled. "Don't you have any heart at all?!"
"Change me back!" Kafei yelled along. "I have someone that I love! You can't keep me this way!"
"Someone...you...love?" I blushed, feeling somewhat same thing for Link that Kafei was about Anju. Skull Kid then started to laugh hysterically after he pondered this. "That's hilarious!"
"No it's not!" Kafei argued.
"Kafei?" Anju then called. Kafei gasped in surprise, then slowly turned his head to look at who it was.
"Miss Anju?" Link said. "What are you doing here?" I linked my hands behind my back. Link saw me out of the corner of his eye, and I moved my eyes away when he looked at me. "Sakura, did you...?"
"Yes," I smiled. "Because they both needed it. A girl's heart doesn't care at all what her true love looks like, just so that they're the person that they know." I looked at the two lovers to the right of me, and my eyes shimmered in happiness for what I did for them. "If the person they fell in love with is there, that's all that matters."
"Kafei...I was so worried about you." Anju stepped forward.
"I'm sorry to keep you waiting, Anju." He smiled, and gave a step himself with his small leg. "I'm home." Kafei ran into Anju's open arms, and they hugged. I smiled.
Tatl giggled. "They're lovers, but they look like mother and child."
I nodded my head in agreement, and forgot about the masked Skull Kid up above.
"Enough!" He grabbed his head in frustration. "I can't take that! It's horrid!"
"What you've been doing to Termina is horrid!" Tatl flew up in anger. "Tael, come down here this instant!"
The purple fairy next to Skull Kid didn't move or make a peep. "Fine, then!" Skull Kid loosened his stance, and I thought I saw the yellow eyes of Majora's Mask start to glow. "Let me show you what happens when you defy me!" The Stalkid suddenly raised his arms up in the air, and let out a big scream. "FALL!"
That's when I felt my body feel the pain that I felt when I transformed. My body fell to the ground with pain, but I wasn't transforming for some reason, I just felt the pain. I also noticed that my necklace was shining off my neck.
Link rushed over, grabbing my shoulders. "What's wrong?"
"He's using so much power! My curse is reacting, but...my necklace is also using its full power." I knew this for a fact, because my neck felt hot from the sudden burst. "Call the giants!" I grunted, the moon giving us only five minutes to react at the most.
Link realized what he needed to do, and took out his ocarina once again. This time it was a different song though, and a pretty one at that. He played the verse, then released his mouth. We waited for what seemed like a half hour, but nothing was coming.
