Termina Field was bigger than I thought it was. Every direction of the large plain was different, starting with the swamp that I just came out of. Green patches of long grass grew along the sides of the field, and shortened as it went up a small hill up to Clock Town. A couple of small fences lined small cliffs that dropped off the hill, and I saw a trail leading to a large canyon with a purple cloud over it to my right, and a sandy trial with a high fence that led to an ocean on the left. A huge log that was as big as a house and was cut into up to the edge laid smack in the middle of me and Clock Town, and I quickly ran under it to finally get out of the rain.

I rung out my hair, a waterfall coming out, and shivered with how cold I was from being so wet. I had to get my dress off somehow to prevent from getting hypothermia, but I didn't have any extra clothes in my supplies. All I had in my satchel was a bottle of milk from Malon that was already half-empty, a few loafs of Hyrule Castle's finest bread, and another empty bottle that I always would keep with me just incase I ever needed it. I realized that my bow and arrows were back as well, but no extra clothes, or a towel that I could use, because I only packed for a one-day trip.

I sighed, and looked out the other end of the log towards the small town. It was surrounded with a high wall, and the only way in was a large entrance that was guarded with a soldier from the inside. When I first saw him, I scrunched my forehead. He looked just like one of Hyrule Castle's guards. No, I told myself. It couldn't be. Not this far from Hyrule.

I decided to see if I could find a dry dress to wear. I walked to the edge of the log, and then ran up the hill to the entrance. I stepped onto the stone where one of my flats clacked, and walked slowly through the tunnel that led into the town. When I came up to the guard, I walk swiftly past him, and he only glanced at me when I did, taking no further notice. I glanced back at him one more time to make sure that he really wasn't from Hyrule Castle, and then looked up and around.

Clock Town was nothing like I've ever seen. Right in front of me was a tall clock tower that had a large clock that whenever it ticked, the edge would move clockwise every second. Below the clock was a large wooden door that had a weird red design on it, and led up to the top of the tower. Below that was a bigger door that had the same design that led into the tower itself. That must have been why they named this town Clock Town, because their most prominent feature was the clock tower.

Above me I heard a few carpenters banging away at a small tower they were building. They all wore blue shirts and khaki shorts, and were all very big, maybe even a little too big to be carpenters. I came up to a carpenter who was on the ground that had a white beard and mustache. He looked different and was bigger than the other carpenters, so I recognized him to be the leader of them all.

"Excuse me," I said.

"What do you want?" he replied rudely.

I let that slide. "What exactly are you building?" I asked kindly despite the remark he made.

"Aren't you supposed to know?"

"I'm not from here. This is actually my first time in Clock Town."

He grunted at me. "We are building a bridge that leads from here to the clock tower for the carnival!"

"Carnival?" I asked. "What's that?"

"It's an annual celebration we have here! Now go away, I'm working!"

I backed away, and moved on from there. Jeez, was everybody here that mean? I sure hoped not.

I walked around the tower they were building, and looked to my left. A small red postbox was in front of a staircase that led to a path leading to a small pool, and next to the staircase was a large doorway that led to another part of town. To my right was another larger staircase that led to a different part of town, and next to the clock tower there were two ways to get around town. I couldn't wait to explore after I finished my mission.
